About the studio:
Wonderful tattoo studio, it is so cozy and welcoming but also spotlessly clean. The artists that work there are so talented and lovely. There are no grand egos or weird posturing just amazing, kind, people who's skills speak for themselves and really care about their clientele.

My artist:
Connor is an absolute legend, I had been following her work for a few years and eventually saved up enough and was able to get on her books. And wow.
I had no idea what she was going to be like in person, she is immediately so warm and kind. Makes you feel totally at ease and works to make your visions not only come to life, but look better than you could have imagined yourself.
She cares so much about the tattoo experience that she's providing, that she even buys special soft wiping cloths (!) among other things to help w the process. This level of kindness and care put into the attention to detail really struck me as so different from anyone I'd ever been tattooed by before. It was honestly a breeze! She custom drew everything herself, including hand drawing directly on me to add to my stencil to fit the shape of my arm more organically.

Her work speaks for itself and is just stunning, but to have that level of mastery combined with being such a lovely human being that cares about all the nuances of the rest of the experience as well, is what really sets her a cut above the rest. She's the best and I already can't wait to go back to get more work!

I have three tattoos from two different artist at Iron Thorn and three others from different places. The shop is calm, spotless and peaceful. It’s relaxing to be there.

The work is beautiful and the artists are extremely talented. I have two pieces from Mary that I get complimented on all the time. Recently I got a fruit bird- lemon goldfinch from Courtney and get stopped by strangers about it every time I’ve left the house these lst two weeks. “Phenomenal ink work” is said a lot.

At this point I can’t imagine going anywhere else for tattoos.

Having unfortunately had to bounce around to three different shops to follow my former artist, and finally deciding to pursue someone else to finish my sleeve, this is the nicest tattoo place I have ever set foot in. Everyone who works here has only ever treated me with kindness and support. It's clean, it plays music at a reasonable volume that doesn't rip through your sternum, and is brimming with incredible artists. Perrey is amazing and I love her.

Finding someone to finish a tattoo that someone else started is NOT something easily found. It took me ages to find Iron Thorn. My original artist became both abusive and unsafe, tattooing out of his garage and expecting me to come in and deal. Perrey and everyone here are helping me work through how I was treated by my former artist and learn to enjoy the tattoo process again, + find love in my sleeve that went all kinds of wrong from day one. They fully understood and empathized with my situation and Perrey is working miracles on my arm.

I also have fairly heavy scarring on my arm, which is treated kindly. Nothing is too deep but the scars are numerous and cover a lot of surface area. I've never been made to feel bad for them.

Stop looking and go here, I can't see myself going anywhere else for as long as I am alive and getting tattooed.

Chill space, incredible artists who care about each other and about their clients. Everyone brings a professional but friendly vibe to their process and it's clear they take pride in their work.

My sister and I worked with Alexus and had the best time. The shop was super cute and comfortable to wait in. She got our vision perfectly and was so easy to work with over email and at the shop during our appointment. Definitely recommend working with her!

My sister and I went here for matching tattoos in honor of our grandfather and Alexus did an amazing job. We sent a design I had created and she made the perfect tattoo that was exactly what I wanted. Walking in the atmosphere and decor was very welcoming and everyone else there were all enthusiastic about tattooing as well. Alexus ensures that I am at peace when tattooing and even after. She is incredibly talented, attentive, personable and gentle. My friend found Iron Thorn tattoo on Instagram and we were instantly smitten with the work that these ladies are doing! Everything from flowers and animals, skulls and intricate designs, and the cartoons… it is all unbelievable and their talent levels are off the charts! I contacted Alexus and showed her a design I liked and she asked me questions and literally drew her own custom design of what I showed her and it’s amazing! So much so, that I quickly went back for another and will continue to do so! If you want a custom tattoo, by incredibly talented women, I highly recommend Iron Thorn tattoo!
