Isaac's Restaurant - Wyomissing reviews
14I've been going to Isaac's since they opened the first many moons ago. Their soups are great, sandwiches are unique and delicious. I stop here every time I get a chance. The kids love the rainbow colored bread.
Great Sandwiches and Burgers. Very clean. Interestingly the chain is women operated.top to bottom.
For years Isaac's was one of my favorite restaurants. What has happened? The new pretzel bread on the Salty Eagle wasn't good. Today I had a sandwich with multi-grain bread. That also wasn't as good as the bread you had been using. Hope you can go back to the bread you used to use.
They switched their breads and the French roll is not nearly as tasty. It flakes apart and is so dry. Very disappointed. Excellent service remains.
Great soups and great sandwiches. I ordered a Pterodactyl along with a bowl of chili. Sampled the creamy tomato and a Rugged Grouse. We were sat quickly, restaurant was clean and staff was polite and friendly.
At the table we had a small bowl of pickled items which were tasty but not comparable to a some of Jewish Delis I've been in.
Soup was delicious! Chili was hearty with plenty of beans, but not too many. A dollop of sour cream and some mild spicing. The only add on I would do is a small bit of bread with it. The creamy tomato was equally good and filling. Croutons on top instead of tortilla chips on the chili, but a delicious soup none the less.
The sandwiches were very good and seemed small but when paired with a soup hit the spot! I had a Pterodactyl with plenty of salami, smoked ham and provolone. Filled well and a tasty vinegar taste along with onions hit the spot. The rugged grouse had turkey provolone with Cole slaw. Both were great and definitely worth having again!
The cost is in the middle but portions were good and taste was definitely very good!
Family friendly and fast service. Highly recommended.
I received an email saying I had a 15 percent thank you discount for dining there recently, I asked the waiter to apply it to our tab last night, he said ok, no discount was applied. Has happened like that before at this location, so watch your receipts at isaacs!
Service is good. Food is very good. Menu selections are limited because they don't have everything listed on the menu. Today it was the fresh fruit salad. What I intended to say is the fruit salad was on the menu but waitress said they were out. I have had other similar experiences where things are on the menu but not available.
Great Service and Food. We have several celiac people in our family and they were very helpful and accommodating.
Great sandwich selection. Loved the pickles while waiting for our food! Wish I could have purchased one of the staff tshirts! Very cute.
This place has always been a favorite of mine. My mother use to bring me here for lunch when I was younger. I am glad to see that they have recently added fries as an option and have added way more sandwiches and sides to their menu also. It's a necessary and good upgraded menu for sure.
The menu is awesome.
The food is delish.
Always a go to place when we are in the area. It never disappoints.
Great service, Friendly Staff, make that Super Friendly Staff, clean, delicious food. I highly recommend the Smoked Salmon Chowder.
My meat of choice is beef. I have enjoyed several Black Herons and a couple Hummingbirds. Today for the first time I tried the Flamingo. The beef in this sandwich was so sinewy, chewy or stringy, I could not break it down to a size I felt safe to swallow. I finally cut it into pieces no larger than a half inch and fed it to the dog. A real disappointment. Very, very expensive dog food.
Was welcomed by staff warmly and with real emotion, rare today, helpful patient, guided me to A. T. M.in walking distance, super staff can't say enough! Food was all that, had a sandwich a Rubin, had a pasta salad, homestyle and delicious, nice dining area and very clean.highly recommended!
