Italian Garden reviews
18I used to go here about 3 times a week. But lately the food hasn't been their best. The pizza especially hasn't been good. It taste like they put too much parmesan and the presentation is not very appetizing. This is what I was giving. Burnt edges and pizza falling apart.
Great pizza excellent strombolis beer to take out orc drink there takeout or delivery many good food items
Excellent Square pizza with sweet peppers 16 slices, thick. My go 2 for pizza wen I want one. Good cold 2 and friendly staff and there is a bar and restaurant same name next door.
Good everyday special. 2 slices and a free soda. I use to eat cheese streaks from here like almost everyday but unfortunately it doesn't have the same chef as before. But it's still great pizza.
Worst cheese steak hoagie I’ve ever had. I asked for cheese wiz and only got about 1 scoop. The sandwich is dry and the lettuce and tomato were old! Never again
Worst bar in Reading, PA and that is saying something. Highly overpriced drinks, terrible service, and the 'old school pool hall' feel that at any moment you could be shot for looking at someone there wrong way. One of the main reasons Reading's Penn Street is a shadow of it's former self. Please close this place A. S. A. P.
By far the best place to get a quick bite.you can also dine in. Meatballs are excellent and the everything else on the menu
Rude inconsiderate staff, food not all that good. Panhandlers right outside pester customers going into and coming outside of establishment. Nuisance bar attached to restaurant where fights and other violence are regular. No real parking space and purple damage cars parked outside establishment.
It's okay. It's just the bar area people are off a bit. When I go there is to get there pizza. It's good pizza. They do have parking area and they are pretty quick.
Horrible stromboli and runny cheese on pizza.
I called to let them know about my stromboli I was planning to take it back untouched.
They told me never to call to them again.
Believe me I won't!
Terrible experience Very rude person!
I rate thus place 0 stars!
I was one of first customers back in 97 lasagna would fill you up now serving size is three bites really small! And back then they would never send out a burnt pizza I've had since 6 burnt over the yrs or more every time I order now I have to tell them not to burn it or I'll send it back which I do they even sent me a burnt strombolli They should stop sending out burnt food
Is that burnt pizza worth losing a customer!
Every single time i order from them they either mess up my order or I have to wait over an hour for my food. For example Tonight i ordered at 7: 27 pm and it is now 8: 50 pm still no food! I wont be doing business with them again after tonight. I gave to many chances!
A one stop shop for me. Food is excellent. There is a full service bar next store with pool tables in the back. DJs on the weekends. And they deliver. As a pizza man/, bartender/, pool shooter/, can't complain.
My boyfriend and I used to go here all the time and there food and service used to be great. Now every experience we have is awful. Almost every time you call there the person answering the phone will have an attitude. They are cocky as hell. The one guy ALWAYS burns the pizza and they will still deliver the burnt slice of pizza. When we order Stromboli half of it is dough and cheese and the other half is the meat. Tonight we ordered chicken Parmesan platters and when it came you could see the chicken was burnt and taste the chicken was burnt. On top of all of that it is always a 45 minute wait for your food. This is the last straw for us. They will no longer have our business and I suggest no one waste your time or money here. DMA on penn street has way better pizza. If you want Italian food go there.
The people were nice however the food did not taste good. The pizza sauce seemed to have been watered down so bad and the what we're suppose to be mild wings did not taste good. They can claim all they want that they were mild but it tasted wrong. On top of that while I sat and waited for my food all I could think is why no one seemed to pick up a wash cloth or mop. It looked absolutely disgusting and it looked like they haven't cleaned in a long time
I paid 2.50 for a 40 there and went back and the girl charged me 3.75. Beware of this place. Check the prices and don't take it by the bartender's word. Never again.
Gotta love it.the best hood spot in Reading, food is off the chain, and the bar seen, well let's just say "if you know how to throw them thangs", you should be ok
They are people friendly great service and great food, they also make the best pepperoni cheese steak sandwich.
