Italian Village Pizza reviews
15 So this is interesting. They close at 8 pm. We got there at 7: 40 pm. Sat in a booth, waited for 10 minutes while watching about 5 employees go about their business. Wondering if anyone was going to welcome us or tell us how to order. We weren't acknowledged at all. OK not a big deal. We went up to the counter to order and where turned away. Not cool. I would have understood if they said we close at 8 we can we make you something to go. That would have worked.
As a small business owner I would never just tell a customer I can't take care of you because I close in 10 minutes. I travel through Ebenburgh very often and will not stop at Italian Village ever. It's the principal.
My husband stood in line for 15 mins waiting for someone to take his order. The guy did NOTHING but stare at him. That is NOT good customer service! He ended up leaving and didn't get to order his food!
Stopped in for a nice lunch with my bestie and was so full when we left, also note they don't have a small, only a medium
We've been here before and it was counter service only (order at the counter, eat at the table or carry out). This visit we were told to seat ourselves and the waitress promptly waited on us.
If a menu has spinach artichoke dip we always order it, it was just ok. Honestly it has a cardboard box type taste to it, like one you'd buy at the grocery store and pop in the microwave. The chips were stale tasting and you could tell they were tossed in the fryer and some weren't crisped back up. We wouldn't order it here again.
Pomodora Campanelle was the daily special good and came with a side salad and bread. It was good.
Veggie calzone was also delicious, despite ordering a small, half went home with me. But I did have a bit of spinach dip and chips.
There was only 1 waitress and despite a small crowd she was prompt, we did wait about 10 minutes for our check. There was a busy spell with take out orders and others paying at the counter (she took our check/payment at the table).
We'll be back.
Absolutely the best pizza in Ebensburg. Hands down. Been here several times and never a disappointment.
The best chicken fettuccine Alfredo I've had in forever. Tastes like home. And super polite.
Eaten here several times, food always great, delivery for lunch is fast and reliable. Had to drop it to 4 stars for their insistance of serving their homemade chips which are just oily thin sliced potatoes. No salt, spice, taste, sauce. Just oil and potato at room temp.
Good pizza. The calzone is great because they brush the crust with oil and garlic. The restaurant could use better ventilation.
I don’t order from here super often, we try to cook at home. However for a take out option, the food and service is always so good when I go!
Not your average Pizza joint. Nice place to enjoy a meal. Food was great! Chicken Parm was amazing. Waitress was delightful. Will definitely go again!
Pizza rolls are so good! Best ranch dressing I've ever had! Employees are all super friendly. Definitely love me some IVP
If you're passing through ebensburg don't even think to go across the street to Rick and Nick's. The only spot in town to get any sort of real New York style. Italian pizza is Italian village Pizza by far
Ordered loaded fries and pepperoni pizza we saw the pizza come out and sit on the shelf. Took a long time.f. Or the fries.then when the pizza come to the table it was cool. Not in a. Hurry to go back
My friends n I had a Wonderful time here. Service exceptionally provided. Rave reviews to Ur Staff, especially helping with Wifi! Koodles to All
It's best to order one course at a time at Italian Village. The food's so good and the portions are so large that it's easy to overindulge.
Two slices of Sicilian pizza is about my limit, but the chili's also so delicious that I often break my own rule and eat too much.
Considering the quality of the food, Italian Village is the best restaurant in Ebensburg-and the best bargain. I rarely travel to Ebensburg without reserving time for a visit.
