Italian Village Pizza & Beer, Downingtown PA

The food was excellent only thing I did not like was the French fries to hard other then that perfect keep up the good work

I tried ordering on line tonight and that went perfect. It let me know the status of the order and i only waited 1 minute til it tokd me to pick it up. I order fries for the first time. I asked that they be well done. They were cooked exactly how I asked. The portion was humongous! Then I got my favorite Mike's Special. Once again it didn't disappoint. Perfect amount of meats, cheese, roll and condiments. Also the young women working the counter are always so friendly! Great job again Italian Village!

VERY disappointed. Ordered the Italian "special" Michael hoagie (have had a million times, been going here for 40 years.) it was very bland, very little meat (sliced thinner then paper) and NO CHEESE.not sure how that happens on an Italian hoagie. I realize everything is more expensive now but if i'm paying the increased price I expect the original quality. Not sure the situation but hope it improves.

Slices are the best around! Always hot with the perfect amount of everything and a nice cheese pull. We love it

This used to be the king of hoagies. It’s been over a year since I had one and today was the day to get one. Something has changed! 80% roll, 3 slices of meat and one slice of cheese. Missed the mark completely. Wawa can make a better hoagie and that’s not saying much.

** Edited: Since posting my original review we have eaten here at least 6 or 8 more times. The cheese fries (both the mozzarella and cheese whiz options) are excellent. The cheesesteak stromboli has also quickly become my favorite, and the cheesesteak and chicken cheesesteak are also both delicious.
Cheeseburger is okay, decent enough. I am a fan of the quality and consistency. Highly recommend. /// I live in Exton and dislike every pizza place near me. I was in the Downingtown/Thorndale area tonight and thought I would try Italian Village. I have been hearing nothing but positive things about this place for YEARS! It definitely did not disappoint. We ordered a cheese pizza and a cheesesteak. Both were excellent! This incredible place puts all Exton pizza to shame. Thank you, Italian Village, for an awesome dinner! We will absolutely be back soon!

No dine in since Covid. There's no reason why they can't allow lunch patrons to dine in.ample room for it, which they used to have. Price is great! Best value for product by far. Bread is awesome!

Every time I call them it’s either busy or no one picks up. They’ve lost my business at least three times because of their phone system.

Had a very good experience here. Everything was ready in 30 minutes after ordering pick up on a Thursday night. Our total came to $25 after ordering a meatball sub and large cheese pizza. The meatball sub reminded me of the kind my Italian neighbor made. Great flavor of meatball and the sauce was pleasant. The bread for the sub was your classic roll that held the meatballs and sauce nicely. I loved how there was cheese layered in the bottom and top of the sub, although it did get rubbery after time went by. I will def get that again, I’m pretty sure it cost around $12 dollars.

The pizza was decent. The sauce and the dough were average but the cheese was a little too thick and rubbery. The crust on the dough was great! Chewy, crunchy and not too sweet. There was not too much oil which was appreciated. Would possibly buy the pizza again but most likely will just be getting the meatball sub again.

The staff was friendly and they have a good beer selection. Thanks y’all.

This use to be the place for great hoagies, pizza and cheesesteaks back in the day. Always made it a point to come here when I come home to visit. Really missed the mark. Cheesesteak and pizza dry. Sad that I got a better hoagie from Wawa.

Joint was busy as all hell at closing time in 4th of July. Workers were still pleasant and helped everyone in a timely manner.

I ordered the Mike's special Italian hoagie and it was probably the best Italian hoagie I have had in a long long time. The different meats on it was a great combination. I will only be getting my italian hoagies from Italian Village going forward. Nice job!

We lived up here 9 years ago.and nothing has changed. Everything is great! Forgot a photo tho.

Always awesome pizza and wings but was disappointed to see they have raised their menu prices pretty significantly.

I didn't know that you can stand by the counter and drink beer in there, or is that only for the mailman?
