Izzazu Salon, Spa & Blowout Bar - Downtown

I had an amazing experience at Izzazu Downtown! I absolutely love my hair and I highly recommend Mazie! She knew exactly what I wanted and went above and beyond! I am in love with my new hair! I highly recommend going here.

My first experience with Val for a haircut. She and her assistant Mia were very professional and friendly. Val did an amazing job of fixing a bad cut I received elsewhere and explained every step to me. I'm getting so many compliments I feel like a movie star!

Absolutely unprofessional people and horrible experience. We got two Groupons for this salon. So we called them a week in advanced and booked time with Messi for the weekend and confirmed that we will be using Groupon.
Once we got there and checked in, Messi, the stylist came in and said she has booked someone else between our appointments and we need to wait for another hour! Then, as soon as we mentioned Groupon, the reception desk ladies gave us bad look and said Messi does not accept Groupon.
After we insisted that we had confirmed time and Groupon, they tried to find another stylist, of course of lower grade, to take care of one us and no one actually bothered to take care of my appointment!
Well, if you make a mistake and mislead customers, be responsible and cover your mistake.

This place was great. Got my hair done. I wasn't turn away because I'm a male with long hair. I didn't enjoy my hair being blow dried but it's not that big of a deal plus they told me next time they wouldn't do it.

Worst service- spent 200 USD on balayage and haircut to remove damaged ends.the hairdresser seemed to be in a hurry and didn’t bother to style it well. I wanted more personality with my hair but what she did was just so plain and boring— very very very different from the references I showed and what I requested. 200 bucks on this is just pinching me. Markus was awesome! I am so much in awe of what he did with my hair. The color, the cut and the style and the blow dry. Oh my God! He really did know how to make his client comfortable and relaxed. Will be showing up again for more services in the future.

It's okay it's a nice place to be the girls do a great job there it's amazing but I tell you what if you really want your hair done you need to get a hold of Rhiannon Kalchthaler. She is one of the best and I think you can find her on Facebook

I went in for a groupon cut with Markus and he went beyond my expectations and did a phenomenal job! Definitely recommend!

DO NOT GO HERE! This is the worst haircut I have ever gotten. I thought maybe it wasn't that bad because it was "styled" but as each day goes by I'm realizing how bad my haircut here was and people even pointed it out to me. I asked for ONE INCH off and slight face framing. I was left with my hair thinned, chunks of my hair missing and "shelf-hair. " Emilio cut my hair and he was all over the place and rushed me. I should have left before he started cutting. He did my "consult" for what I wanted while in the middle of cutting other peoples hair, he left leave me countless amounts of time to talk to other people while cutting my hair, and overall he ruined my hair. I told him I didn't like it and asked why he sectioned off the top part of my hair and cut extreme layers all around it and he told me "to wear it and it's what we talked about. " I showed him pictures, asked him multiple times to just listen to me bc I wasn't done explaining what I wanted but he ensured me he "knew what I wanted. " I want a refund I literally cry everyday over my hair. DO NOT GO HERE!

My daughter gave me a gift certificate for highlights, cut & style for my birthday. Mazie really hooked me up. She made me feel special at a low time with all that’s going on plus right before my appointment I woke up with Bell’s palsy. So sorry it took so long to send review especially because the appointment was back in November but life as we now know it has been so hectic but I’m still getting a lot of compliments thanks to Mazie.

This place was very friendly and welcoming in all the best ways possible. The experience I had here has to be the best brow wax experience ever. And the atmosphere was amazing.

Beautiful salon. Lindsay is my stylist & she does a great job. My color is the best that I have ever had. They offer many services & the whole staff is welcoming & I always leave happy.

I really liked the gal hairstylist who did my has it. She was thorough and took the time to listen. The place itself was huge and was kind of cold metal and pipes and ceilings that were 2 stories high. Thee station was so small and close together I. Just got.and I'm small 132 lbs size 6

Overall good experience. I used Groupon coupon and Marcos is my stylist. He listened to my requirement to not reduce length and do long layers and edges to be blunt (like trimming off my sharp edges). He does as per my requirement. I posted my before, after pictures below.

If you are looking for a relaxing and rejuvenating experience for skin care.you need a facial with Anna. She does a great job on eyebrow waxing, and when I decided to get a facial I was nervous because often my skin looks awful the first few days after.but with her facials, my skin looks so much brighter. She provides the total experience, highly recommended.

Always, the best place for hair, and every single hairstylist there is always very friendly. Love Emilio, he has been cutting my hair for almost 20 years! He and his sweet family have been dear friends to me.

Izzazu is a spa and salon, but it’s also part boutique hotel. Fantastic hospitality, customer service and attention to detail. And an exceedingly gifted, courteous and patient team from the owners down through the stylists and extended team. Also one of the best holiday parties in town.
