J & M Custom Kitchens (Cabinet Maker), Oxford PA

After an extensive search online for a direct Amish cabinet maker on Home Advisor, the name Jacob Fisher kept coming up in the discussion forums from years ago. My wife then did a reverse search and found J&M Custom Kitchens in Oxford, PA. She called the number from the website that she found and within 24 hours, Jacob Fisher called her back. We then scheduled an appointment with Jacob and drove to Oxford, PA to meet him and see the cabinets that he made himself in his showroom. We were very impressed with the quality of the work and while Jacob is young, the craftmanship is superb. His father is also a cabinet maker. After the 90-minute or so meeting, we knew right away that we came to the right place and although our new construction won't start until 2025 in FL, we will be signing a contract with Jacob in February. We are beyond excited and look forward to have true custom made cabinets made by a very talented craftsman in our retirement home in Southwest Florida (near Sarasota).

In 2021 we finished a large renovation on a 2 bedroom rental that is attached to our home. I found J & M Custom Kitchens, called and the rest is history. J&M Custom kitchens just finished my kitchen. They did an amazing, amazing job. They are true craftsman. You want a cabinet that isn’t “standard “ size? No problem! This is a true custom cabinet shop that uses premium woods and builds your cabinets to your specifications. Their cabinets are by far the finest built cabinets I have ever seen. The quality of construction is off the charts! Jacob Fisher has the patience of a saint and is very detail oriented. He truly wants his customers to be completely, 100% satisfied. As you can see in my photo, my kitchen is not big. My house was 2 1/2 hours from his shop. No problem. If you truly want the best, shop no further than J&M. Their prices are very competitive and customer satisfaction is a top priority.

Jacob designed beautiful custom kitchen cabinets in a very difficult kitchen space, creating more functional space than I ever thought I'd have, with attention to detail, and excellent carpentry and installation for a cost that didn't break the bank! The challenges faced during a Covid renovation and the follow up provided are a testament to Jacob and J&M Custom Kitchens integrity and professionalism.
