Well we are very happy with our home for today because it is nice and bussin for many seconds and hours!

We had J Schwartz design and build a two story addition with a full finished basement. We did have a budget in mind, and Joe and his architect worked within our budget to design the space, and build it. It really was one-stop shopping - almost literally; Joe actually shopped with us for all of the finishes! We do recommend J Schwartz highly for anyone looking to work on the their home.

We used J Schwartz for a renovation and addition project to our home after getting a proposal from another contractor that lacked detailed and didn’t leave us with much confidence. Joe was detailed and available, and our home is gorgeous. We have a new Master bedroom, master bathroom, second floor laundry, playroom, and a beautiful renovated kitchen that we don’t want to leave. We couldn’t be happier with the work, or the process. We recommend J Schwartz to anyone looking to do work on their home.

I worked with Joe on 2 house inspections and he was very professional and thorough. Unfortunately when it came to trying to get a response about pricing for a fair amount of construction to my current property I was completely ghosted. Joe came to view the property and I followed up 4 times, even asking if he could let me know if he felt he could not do the project. I never received a reply. I'm not one to post bad reviews but this was not a good experience.

It is a HUGE investment to remodel your home, and it takes a TON of planning, research and thought - at least for us. We had J Schwartz do the design and construction of a kitchen, laundry, master bedroom, suite and mudroom addition for us in 2020 (sorry it took so long to post) and we LOVE IT, and couldn't be happier. I imagined (and heard from others) that this process would be stressful and troublesome - but it was the opposite for us. We were excited and happy and informed through the whole thing, and when we had the inevitable questions, they were quickly answered. There is nothing stereotypical about this company - they care, and involved and responsive, and do amazing work.

My wife and family could not be happier with our home. Joe and his team of amazing craftsman do amazing work, and are really great at what they do - we were informed and knew what was happening, we were asked about every possible design option, and the budget was held.

Sometimes a wait is worth it! I was referred to J. Schwartz Remodeling by a dear friend and local Realtor. I called Joe and he came out to discuss my Kitchen addition/renovation, but he told me that while we can quickly start to design the project, he wouldn't be able to start the construction phase for about 6-7 months because he was busy taking care of current clients. While this was disappointing, I understood that a highly recommended, very good contractor should be busy! Joe shopped with us and helped make beautiful selections while his Architect designed with us. We were kept informed before and during the construction, and the project was seamless, and the outcome SO worth the short wait. I definitely recommend Joe and his amazing team.
