Excellent, you can find everything you need. The staff couldn't be nicer. Like you walked in to family. Large selection of fabrics, textures, and colors.

Awesome selection if matrtial. Prices are really reasonable. Staff is very helpful. Probably the best and biggest selection of material on 4th street. If they dont have it they will try to get it for you. Highly recommended if you need material for dress, covering pillows or play costumes.

They offered a lot of fabric for home and formal wear fabric, but the rest of the fabric was boring, my opinion. I said to the guy I was looking for a stretchy colorful print fabric, he pointed me to the fabric (all solid colors) when I said print again he pointed to the few black and white fabrics. If I were making a prom dress or covering chairs I would buy at Jack B.

Jack B is my favorite fabric store. If you're looking for elegant fabrics, this is the place to find them.

I come down to Philadelphia every few months for work and always try to squeeze a trip to fabric row into my trip, and Jack B.and Maxie's Daughter are the two "must visits" of 4th st. Great selection of fabrics, including laces, cottons, denims, linen, wool, and upholstery. Wonderful, friendly staff, and nice prices. Love these guys!

I was looking for African patterned fabric. I didn't know exactly where the African shops were in Philly. I knew West Philly like Woodland Ave, Baltimore Ave and perhaps 52nd street. But these shops are kinda off the grid and I didn't have time to search all day for it. This was a good alternative. They had a larger selection than I expected.
I found something I liked and it was affordable.

They've done a great job bouncing back from the fire and the moving back and forth and whatnot. Now back on the original corner, they are remodeled and much more open and organized. You can actually breath in their store.unlike most of the overcrowded dusty joints on the strip!

Good selection of suiting/outerwear fabric. They also carry quality leather.
However, if you are a student, know that the store do not cut swatches for you to sample nor welcome any cuts under a yard.

The lady is incredible RUDE! Will never shop there and will advise my fellow designers not to waste their money and time supporting this shop. Also updating is needed on the URL; on multiple desktops, and laptops I kept receiving errors.

I love this place, they have almost everything you can dream of with regard to sewing. Beautiful fabrics, everything is always so neat, very reasonable pricing and most importantly customer service is great. Keep up the good job Jack B Fabrics!
