I had 48 hours to find and retain a lawyer. I was referred to Jim Bonner and immediately contacted his office. Jim could tell on the phone I was extremely anxious and on limited time. He did everything he needed to do so that he could see me in consult that afternoon. During the consult Jim was so knowledgeable and thorough. He explained everything to me so that I fully understood the process. He gave me every possible scenario from the worst to the best and everything in between. I was 100% confident in his ability and skills. He immediately started working on my case. After appearing in court twice that resulted in continuances due to witness/victims not showing up. Jim requested the judge grant a dismissal if no one showed for third court date. Appearing in court for the third time the DA had to try my case with what they had.
