Janina's Fine Desserts, York PA

Best cakes ever. That was the starting of my relationship with this small Polish bakery/Cafe. The name is absolutely correct, they have "Fine Desserts" and we have enjoyed our brunches and breakfasts there along with the mouthwatering cakes Janina has made for my kids Birthday party and other occasions. I recommend everyone to try Janinas'.

My wife bought a cannoli cup and a piece of mousse cake. The cannoli was gross. It was old, stale and tasted like the refrigerator. The mousse cake was old too, not as old but both were promptly thrown away. What a waste of 15.00

Unfortunately, quality and professionalism is becoming rare these day. Thankfully with Janina’s it’s all they do. Quality product and excellent communication. I needed a cake for my wife’s birthday. A particularly special 60th birthday milestone. From the first call, I felt I definitely picked the right place. We picked up the cake on Saturday morning for the party to happen later that day, and all I can say is wow! They did an amazing job with the decorations and airbrushing. The cake was absolutely perfect and what we had discussed as a design. When we had the party and we brought it in to sing happy birthday my wife was speechless. She absolutely loved it but the best part was when we got to eat it. It was a tiered cake with chocolate ganache on the bottom and chocolate strawberry on the top. It is truly one of the best cakes I’ve ever had. All I can say, is bravo and thank you. We will definitely be going to Janina’s from now on.

This was the best cake I have ever had. I had a strawberry cake for my wife it was the hit of the party it was so good she loved it. This young lady it a great pastry chef. I will be back for more absolutely gorgeous cake. Thank you so much. Mike davis
