I only had dessert but the chocolate/ peanut pie was wonderful. The gift shop had beautiful things for sale.

Excellent food. Nice selection of beers and other drinks. Nice B & B. We recommend stopping here when you are in the area.

Such a solid menu with an absolutely beautiful historic building. I went during the holiday season and the Christmas menu is amazing, the duck will knock your socks off. They also brew their own root beer. Yum!

The food was absolutely amazing! The presentation was lovely and the waiters were very nice. It was a little on the expensive side but definitely worth it. The drive was a little from where I was staying but overall the place was great!

Very small restaurant with a whimsical atmosphere, rich with history. Very high quality food and service. Easy to miss, it's positioned in a weird way on the road. Very interesting to learn about the history of the place

My all-time favorite place to go! Best filet mignon EVER! The appetizers are to die for! We have the crab and lobster cheese dip and TWO servings of the bacon wrapped scallops! Best darn scallops we eat anywhere! And the cocktails? I'm still stuck on June or July's Strawberry Twist! It is absolutely wonderful! Staff is ever so courteous! Atmosphere is positively lovely! Could NOT eat in a better place! We travel about 40 - 45 minutes to get there but it is sooo worth it! We go at least once a month but often go twice. We absolutely LOVE it there!

Our neighbors and my wife and I drove down to Bedford PA (30 minutes) to enjoy lunch together on the shortest day of the year. It was wonderful. The wives had salads, the guys did burgers. I enjoyed a surf and turf burger that included a crab cake for $18 and a side of onion rings for $5. Best crab cake ever! Great onion rings and great hamburger. I will go again!

I’m a customer, I live local, I visited your Restaurant five times since March. The food is always been good. The service has always been good atmosphere beautiful.
I was in the restaurant this evening, 25 November, and the restaurant manager, The short blonde lady.
There was a party of 8 to 10 people that came up from downstairs. They We’re waiting to be seated and unfortunately there was nothing available So they came upstairs to wait by the bar because that’s where you go to wait in a restaurant.unfortunately you don’t have a reception area so they had no choice but to wait around a table that was empty. Granted, I know this is a business, but they were elder Involved and even if they weren’t elderly, they don’t need to be told they can’t wait there because what if somebody comes in and wants the table, there was no line at the door nobody else waiting to be seated and not knowing how long the table was to be ready downstairs. So they almost decided to take the table upstairs because basically they were strong armed into taking that table. Not even five minutes went by and they were headed back down the stairs to the table. I guess it was ready for them.
I am very sorry that I had to bring this up and make it known. I am a passionate person within the restaurant industry for most of my life. I can’t shake the feeling when I’m in a restaurant to just sit there eat my food and I naturally critique the food, the service, the business, but for something to blatantly be thrown in my face, such as this is offensive to me. Thank you for listening and thank you for your concern.

When we want a nice dinner this is one of our go to places. The dining room is so cozy and you feel as if you have stepped back in time. The food is very good!

There's so much with this tavern. The history goes back to the 1700's. The restaurant is amazing. My son and I ate here on our way home from a trip to Gettysburg and had a wonderful experience. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. The food is fabulous. The Jean Bonnet Tavern is also a bed and breakfast. I haven't had the chance to stay but I hear it's a great experience. Also there is the paranormal side to experience of your into that sort of thing. Whether your into the history or even the paranormal this tavern has a little bit of everything to offer a great experience.

What happened to one of my favorite places to eat? It's going down hill like a freight train. Ordered the chicken Marsala and there was not one hint of Marsala wine. The sauce was white. Marsala wine is red. I don't know what the concoction I had was but it was definitely NOT Marsala. Served with pasta floating in olive oil. It was on the level of eat n park. Dissatisfied repeat customer here.

Delicious food and great service. Took my family of 8, ranging from kids to seniors and we all enjoyed our dinning experience. We will definitely be coming back.

This is one of the most charming rooms in such a unique tavern. The owner was extremely nice and the staff welcoming. The owner helped us out tremendously, when we locked our keys in the car.

Was a wonderful place with a lot of History. The food was excellent and well put together from the Appetizer to the dessert
The customer service was inpececable. The Ambiance of the Tavern/ Restaurant was wonderful.
We will be back and enjoy other varieties of this very well put together menu.

We ate there Saturday and it was awful. Salad came before our onion soup and when it did come it was barely warm and so salty we couldn't eat it. Salad not so good either the chichen was so dry and lettuce was old. We have eaten there a few times and soup is always warm. Fifty dollars for not so good meal. Won't go back.

We try to stop here when traveling through the area. Sits right along Lincoln Highway. Building has some history to it which makes it more interesting to me. Food and service has always been great. The oatmeal pie is a must.
