Jean's Sub Hub reviews
13Order a few items to give the place a try. The Italian sandwich and the smoke brisket sundae are great. Good size portions too
First time being there and will definitely be returning. I ordered a large brisket Sunday and it didn't disappoint, the brisket is very tender, the bbq is delicious, the Mac and cheese was creamy. Mix it all together with some bacon and cheese sauce on top it was awesome, it was a generous serving.
I got two of the smoked brisket sundaes one medium and one larger and an A&W root beer. It was absolutely delicious and the portions are huge! The staff is friendly and lively. They have a little cooler with a variety of sodas to choose from, some chip racks, and even some candle warmer wax tartlets on a little stand. There is a small dining area with a single table and four chairs, but it's more of a waiting area to take a seat for a little bit while you wait for your food.
I think ive made a review about this place before.when it had decent food and cooks who looked like they cared. Idk what happened since my last order from there but everything was dry. My cheesesteak in the garden was sopping wet outside but the beef was drier than popeyes biscuits.the chicken bacon ranch was the same way! How can a sub be so moist but the meat be bone dry? !? The waffle sandwich.you guessed it. DRY. I thought the mac and cheese would of been my saving grace but no way in hell. The mac and cheese was griddy and just mush. I only give it a second star because everybody was so nice except the one cook didnt seem to want to be there. I get it.go to work, go home and get payed.in the food business you need to at least make the stuff edible. Im sorry but then again im not sorry but this place no longer exists for me and my household. Sad i had to even post this.
Great food! Definitely more for the money! The Erb Special Hoagie has sooo much meat. You cant wrap your mouth around it! Chili is very good and the service is top notch.
Cute little place! Friendly service! Happy 1st birthday Jean's Sub Hub! Hoagie was delicious! Can't wait for them to start serving breakfast!
Sorry to mr sanders for messing up your sub it was my first day im very sorry i cost this place a customer thats a horrible feeling but I feel like I can get better day by day
The food was very good! Large portions, pulled pork & mac & cheese were excellent. Wraps and subs were very good as well! Highly recommend!
Stumbled upon this fantastic little spot today. My kids devoured the pulled pork mac and cheese and my brisket was delicious. To go orders packed with foods separated (hot sandwich) for easy heat up and no soggy buns! Cole slaw was fresh and yummy too. Can't wait to try more dishes.
Got food from there before & was good but tonight was a disaster.
Ordered food tonight brisket taco was dried out brisket soggy chips & cov boy wrap the chicken was dried up the best thing we got was the middleswarth chips
Have been there several times so far and have gotten different items from the menu. Excellent! Generous portions, great tasting food. Never disappointed.
Pros
People seemed nice
Prices are reasonable
Portion were large
Wraps are good
Pulled pork mac and cheese was good
Cons
The sun were nothing special
I had 2 subs the bread was mediocre and they just tasted ok. The one had buffalo chicken cold meat yuck instead of real chicken.
I will try the other subs but so far it was decent but nothing great.
Very happy to see a place open up here! They have a big selection. We got a cheesesteak and a cheese sub, both of which were super generous portions. We got them to-go and they even brought them out to our car. The masks the workers wore were the clear plastic masks pulled away from the face like dental headgear. These don't protect anyone from aerosol transmission, so we are looking forward to returning after we get vaccinated for Covid, hopefully 2021!
