My first call for any type of appliance repair is always Kleckners on MacArthur Rd, Whitehall. They don't repair LG washers so they recommended Jim Bobal Appliance Service in Fountain Hill. The office staff was very professional and responsive to need to have the washer fixed asap. They booked an appointment for two days later. Richie was the repairman and I have to give him 5 stars also. He was professional, respectful and answered all my questions. It turns out my pump was the problem. So glad I didn't have to replace my washer as I suspect other services or big box home stores might have advised.

Can't express enough compliments to Keith and his work. He came out on Saturday to fix our fridge compressor. He was professional, his work was tidy and he made sure all was protected and covered while working. Will definitely call again. Thank you!

Richie came out to fix my leaking fridge. He’s was prompt, efficient, and friendly. Was able to fix my issue quickly and show me what the trouble was. Was even offered an earlier appt day, but was not home then.

This company had serviced my refrigerator several years ago. OK, now 04-21-2023 I needed service to repair/replace my ice maker. First, I spoke with Lisa, (receptionist, and a delight), several days ago. She set up my date for service, ask a few questions about my need, informed of possible cost, and as expected Jim Bobal's service agent (Keith) arrived on time today. Keith was very professional, answered all my dumb questions, quickly determined cause via testing the equipment, and explained his task on hand. The parts were available on his service van, and he performed the task with precision. Keith's friendly attitude, knowledge, and work ethic are all I needed to remain a customer and to recommend Jim Bobal Appliance to others who could need this type of service. Five stars to this company, start to finish.

Simply amazed by their attentiveness and professionalism. Jim Bobal customer service starts right at your first call when you connect to their call center. I have spoke to three different ladies who were extremely helpful and always willing to listen. One of them is named Susan, and the other two I can't remember, but their service was nothing short of personable, friendly and professional. Now.for the star of the Show, I can not say enough good things about their repair Technician Keith. His knowledge and ability to diagnose and repair our machine while making it look like a piece of cake was amazing. He is super friendly and just and outright skilled at what he does. He explained and showed me everything I needed to know about my washer machine and was able to determine what was wrong with it. He not only told me what replacements were needed, but actually showed me. Once he finished with the diagnostics, he looked up the parts to make sure they were in stock and stated the next steps were to place the order once I got a call back. Got a call that same day from Susan who ordered the parts and by the end of the week was scheduled to have the repairs done. Keith came and worked his super powers and now My older Machine runs as good as new! THANK YOU JIM BOBAl for providing us with amazing service all around during our repair search. And a Big Thank you to Keith for rocking and answering all my questions, getting the job done in a quick and timely manner and willing to come out to adjust a few settings I needed on the washer itself.

Had problems with my washer, kept saying unbalanced and wouldn't drain.after requesting and arguing for a second repair company to come from my warranty company (the first one came out, said he ordered parts, lied about and closed my account), they sent me Rich and his partner from Jim Bobal. In one week, he stopped by, assessed the situation and ordered the parts. The ladies in the office kept me Informed of the status and by day 8, everything was up and running! GE Profile oven was not heating up. On 2/15 Keith came and said probably need a new electric board which needs to be ordered.
On 2/24 Keith came and installed the board and checked all broilers and convection and oven. Working fine.
Price? What's not expensive but you get what you pay for.

I must give appraisal to Keith for his professional and courteous manner.
Even my dog liked him.
Will call Bobal again if needed. Hopefully not.

Had a technician come out to repair our refrigerator and microwave. He diagnosed the issues quickly and completed both repairs quickly. He was friendly, knowledgeable and the final price was reasonable. I would definitely recommend and use again.

My wife and I have both Maytag washer and dryer. Both over thirty years old. The dryer has been squeaking for way too long, and a good friend recommended Jim Bobal. Their tech just left, his name was Keith. He was all the Boy Scout things you would hope a tech could be, helpful, courteous, kind and more.

I only wish I had found Bobel Appliance sooner! I originially had a different company come out to repair my fridge. After many weeks of back-and-forth communication, several visits, ordered parts, and money paid, my fridge was still broken.

Then, I called Bobel and what an AMAZING experience! The office staff was friendly, kind, and helpful when I called to schedule an appointment. The technician that came to my home was professional, respectful, informative, on-time and efficient. They were able to fix my fridge after ordering a simple part, all within the time frames they promised. Their costs were reasonable and I would highly recommend Jim Bobel to anyone needing repairs!

I had an issue with my LG refrigerator that was only three and a half years old. I was lucky enough to get a service call the very next day after I called. Richie came out diagnosed the problem. Unfortunately I had to wait 6 days to get it fixed just because there's just not enough manpower. But Keith came on a Saturday morning had it up and running in less than 2 hours. Great service great communication and the guys are very friendly and they clean up well at the end of the job. Luckily most of my repair was covered by warranty.

Communication great - in other words called back as so many repair shops fail to do. Professional. Replaced belt quickly. Charge was reasonable. Very friendly. Highly recommend.

Can I give Richie at Jim Bobals 10 stars? They were friendly, knowledgeable, considerate, reasonable and fast. I can't say enough good things! They are now my go to for all repairs and maintenance.

2 Stars for fixing my dryer promptly.
However, the company will only work with certain distributors, which I understand is due to an insurance issue. Therefore I was told the part my washing machine needed was on a "national backorder" from Samsung and they didn't keep it in stock. I called twice monthly for 5 months. I did check around and couldn't locate the part myself. However, last week I called another small local repair company and he told me that is a very common part and he usually keeps it in stock, however he had to order because he just ran out. He had it within 3 days and my washer was fixed within the week for $435. I told 'Jim Bobal' that this is what happened and they said they wouldn't have charged me as much for the labor or part. The higher price hardly matters now that I've already had to lug pounds and pounds of laundry (we have 10 ppl at home) and spend $100's at the laundromat for months because they couldn't try harder to find a common part and didn't bother to tell me there may be other options. Even a refurbished part (if that were the case) is better than nothing!
PS. DON'T BUT SAMSUNG APPLIANCES EITHER! These machines are only 4 years old. (my Samsung flip phone also cracked - these products are built to break).
