Jimmy the Hot Dog King, Harrisburg PA

Pretty much eat there every day me and my dad couldn't get better feels good to come in and see how long the line is outside the door and when you get in it's more of a little bit of a line and all the counter is filled up

I frequently stopped for their chilli dogs with mustard. They were excellent. On my last visit I noticed that a 15% "mandatory gratuity" was attached to the total bill. Once this becomes mandatory, it's now called a TAX. I am sorry to say that I have eaten my last Jimmy Dog.

I remember the first time I ever ate there because it was a reward for being good at my Mom's hair dresser.approximately 45 years ago. I now work up the street and it was like stepping back in time when I walked in. It is clean but dated. The food is always on point. I order often and have never had an issue. Breakfast is the best and made to oder. Enjoy

I really like this place! The hot dogs and fries were delicious and reasonably priced. You can eat in or order carry out.

EASY 5 stars. When I worked in Harrisburg, I came here at least once a week. Now I no longer work in the city, but on the rare occasion I do come into Harrisburg, I make it a point to stop in. This place is a HIDDEN GEM! Awesome hot dogs. Awesome breakfast. It's not upscale or fancy. It's entirely old school & I love it. And I think most people who come here do as well.

I ordered their chicken corn soup was good. 2chili dogs with onions.they didn't give me the onions

Going there ever since it's coming to town love this place they got the best dogs in our area and that is all of Central PA my mom says it's the sauce that makes the dog

I haven't been here in years and it was a pleasure to return. 10 across the board! The food was exceptional!

New faces but they must be using the same recipe for the hot dogs. I use to go there regularly when I worked in the area.

Jimmy's is the perfect place for breakfast or lunch! And the homemade soups are a winter time staple

I usually get thier egg salad or tuna subs. They are stuffed full with egg salad and/ or tuna. An uptown staple for many years. ~ 5 STARS from me!

Jimmy's food be popping! There's always good food and customer service. Not to mention they get your order out to you in a reasonable amount of time. I've been going to this place yrs and I will continue to so. Don't believe me, try it yourself.

I haven't been home for almost 10 yrs but when I do come to visit this will be my first stop Breakfast bangs, but them chili dog's hit different.

I love the food. But I thought greasy spoons were supposed to be inexpensive.

. 2 yr edit. A breakfast sandwich (BEC) on a sub roll was almost $10. BUT, on a 12 inch roll, that's 2 sandwiches. One of the best I've ever had, twice!

Going down hill use to always get the gyro and fries for 5.50 now it’s 9 dollars 2.75 for fries extra

This place is the worst, dirtiest place in the city! The previous owners were great but this place is horrible & the food and customer service is nastttty.

Good old school hot dog place. I got 3 with chili, onions, and mustard and a chili cheese fry. Everything was good. Not spectacular but good. No seating inside due to Covid. Cash and cards accepted.
