Jimmy Wan's Restaurant and Lounge, Pittsburgh PA

Been going to Jimmy Wan's for years! Their food is always very good. I've made a shift towards more authentic Asian style cooking and Jimmy's is Americanized, but any time someone says let's get Chinese, Jimmy's is my first answer. You literally can't go wrong.

A little fancier than I expected but very nice. Food was good. Kind of pricey though. I had beef and broccoli lunch, crab Rangoon and a shrimp tempura roll that had caviar on it. Everything was quite tasty! The egg roll filling was just a liiiiittle salty. Service also got a little slow once I was seated. The list of beers though.

Service not as attentive as it could have been.we had to continually flag waitress down for drinks. Everyone's food was amazing though!

Been going here for along time an after today I will never come back.service was terrible an when I got my check an the server decided to write there own tip in what I should give.why should I give tht amount they write if the service was terrible didn't even get my drinks for along period of time an when my food came out that's when I finally got my appitzer shouldn't tht come out before my meal.terrible terrible an the guy that's in charge tonight how he acted was very unprofessional

I'll never return to this restaurant. Waited over 20 minutes for a table, to see the hostess seat another couple that just walked in. When I brought it up she was extremely rude and nasty to me. No reason to do so either, I wasn't rude to her.

I don't care how good the food is, the experience is what you go to the restaurant for. Ruined my desire to ever experience that place.

We went to Jimmy WAN’s for dinner. I was surprised at how well prepared the apps and my dish was. Scallion pancakes, cold peanut noodles and tuna tartar.

My husband had something else and thought it was too salty. We’d go back. But my husband would just order something else.

Went to this resturant over 15 years first time I was ever disappointed service was no good took them 20 minutes to get ur drink I had to repeatly ask for what I wanted when I made my order I wasn’t asked if I wanted another drink until I was already done with my food when I told her I was done with my food she bought me my check with thre own tip written on it I usually always give good tips due to good hospitality but this time it wasn’t to have to keep repeating what I asked for when I made my order I gave the waitress what she deserved but I got chased out the resturant by the man in front yelling at me because he thought i should of have a better tip that not what resturants do if u want great service go to zens in oakmont pa

$30 for 4 bowls of soup. Hot and sour soup that had absolutely no taste and the same with miso. Over priced for below average quality, I think I’m done, this wasn’t the first time

Sometimes work would treat us here. We always made it back on time because they were fast, but didn't skimp on quality.

I've always had excellent service and the food is great. Very clean, neat, and attentive. Great for a quick lunch, or a romantic dinner. For delivery, they throw in lots of sauce; I can't stand it when places don't give you napkins, sauce, etc.

I'd recommend business casual if you don't like feeling underdressed.

Always great food and atmosphere. Great sushi too. They even have a bar you can sit at where they make the sushi.

Honestly one of my favorites.
I went there about a year ago, being 17 the prices were a little intimidating (but totally worth it) and the atmosphere was super calm and clean. It felt like finding a diamond in the rough. I have been ordering sushi and tofu takeout for dinner and it’s honestly the best I could find in the area.
Rock n’ Roll sushi for about $20 so that means I get shrimp tempura, avocado, caviar, topped with lobster salad, and spicy aioli. It’s addicting and incredibly unique.
I’m almost embarrassed to say I’ve ordered it consecutively, but it’s worth it.
Their tofu was perfect in texture, too.
Better than the neighboring restaurants.
Eating with someone else led me to pay $40-60.

Over all the experience was decent. They did try to bring my tablemate beer 3 times when he had ordered an old fashioned. They eventually got it right. I ordered beef and broccoli and the sauce was thicker than I'm used to, but tasted ok. They only brought a small portion of rice for the order. I would have asked for extra had I known. I'd give them another try though as the general service was good.

Very good food with good service. Prices seemed a bit high for what we got, but maybe I'm just getting old.

Great restaurant. More authentic fresh food. Doesn’t disappoint: broad choices, good service, clean and comfortable environment.

Crispy chicken with broccoli was absolutely horrible.
I think the other food maybe good but this needs to come off the menu.

Very good fare and prompt service in an environment more upscale than the usual. Prices reflect that to a degree.

I found the food ok but didn't wow me and the fish didn't look or taste fresh. The service was ok. The price was what shocked me I've gotten the same meal at a different restaurant closer to Cranberry for 1/2 the price.
