Jim's will be my permanent Auto service. Experience was great. Was even able to use Jim's coupons. Saved money!

I had a flat tire and didnt see until 4: 30 pm. Jim's closes at 6. I called all around and no one was able to take me to take out a nail. Jim's said come on in and took me right away. Had it fixed in 15 mins and charged me a very reasonable amount. Amazing service!

Had my truck serviced there and watched it never be pulled into the shop and my receipt was charged a different amount than my invoice said and then got him and realized instead of replacing the fusible link they just straight wired it.

Jim’s was a life saver. My Infinitis AC Compressor died, and then a few days later my car wouldn’t start after stopping for gas. I had it towed to a dealership who said the engine was seized and I needed to replace it for $15,000. I called Jim’s and explained the situation to the mechanics there. They immediately said the story didn’t line up with a seized engine. I had it towed over to Jim’s and within an hour they called saying the engine was not seized, and that I only had to replace the compressor, a belt, and a tightener. They had my car fixed by the end of the day and only $2200+ tax. I got very good and trustworthy vibes from the team at Jim’s and of course mechanically speaking they were correct. This was 2 weeks ago and my car is running perfectly again. 10/10, will definitely be back to Jim’s.

They listed all the problems with my car, told me the urgent issues and the not so urgent ones that can wait but is recommended to be fixed. I appreciated the honesty and not just telling me everything needs to be fixed to get as much money as they can.

I moved back to Philly from Brooklyn a year ago, and was referred to Jim’s by a friend of mine who’s taken his car there for years. I’m so thankful for the referral! The guys at Jim’s are awesome, always friendly, and accommodating. Every time, I’ve had excellent, prompt service, at good prices. I completely trust them with my car and am glad they’re so close by. I only wish they were open on Saturdays.

I'm sure the quality of work being done is fine, but the listening/communication skills are not. I called and specifically requested if they could service the AC of my 2016 RAM, explaining that some places don't because of a mechanical change from earlier models. 2 days without a car later they tell me that they can't service the Ram.for this very reason.

! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!

I called Jim’s Auto Service on a Tuesday morning explaining exactly what I needed done on my car. They confirmed their availability to do the work, so I brought my car in at 2PM Tuesday afternoon. At that point they advised me that they’d probably look at it after that afternoon, but would call me tomorrow (Wednesday) to let me know what’s going on.

I followed-up the next day on Wednesday at 2PM and they advised that “it was next in line”.

I never heard from them.

I followed-up the next day on Thursday at 2PM and was again advised that “it was next in line”.

I never heard from them.

I followed-up the next day on Friday at 11AM and was again advised that “it was next in line”.

I told them don’t bother … it’s been three (3) days and they never even looked at the car despite their empty promises that “I was next in line”.

When I went into pick-up the keys there was no explanation of how busy they were; no apologies; no nothing. I understand their business is busy (good for them), and their time is valuable, but my time is also valuable and I chose them over other service centers, but they wasted my time and eliminated my ability to get the service done somewhere else. Again … with not one word of apology or explanation.

I wasted my time here so you don’t have to. I will certainly never go back, and neither should you!

UPDATE: A few hours after I posted this review the business owner, Jim called me to apologize.

Jim’s auto service was great! They diagnosed the problem, fixed my car within two days and the prices are fair! I definitely recommend!

Highly recommend Jim’s Auto. My brakes were making a grinding noise, and they were able to fit me in and fix the issue right away. They kept me informed and were reasonably priced. I will definitely be servicing my vehicles there from now on.

Service has always been fast and at a better price than competitors. They also make sure to inform of any issues and discuss pricing ahead of time.

The owner texted me that they had some availability that day and it just so happened that my rear shocks had recently blown. I had the day off so I dropped it off. 4-5 hours later it was ready to be picked up!

I was unable to get a last minute appointment at the car dealer and was in a jam for an oil change and state inspection. I am hesitant about taking my vehicle anywhere and searched diligently online for someone who could properly handle my vehicle. I found Jim's Auto Service and had a positive experience getting my car serviced. I would absolutely use Jim's Auto Service again!
