Jin Jin Chinese Restaurant reviews
12They need to get a new chef at this place. Food has really gone down hill. This place is not worth your hard earned money
Utterly horrible. Sesame chicken was undercooked and mushy, sauce tasted like pure sugar. Fried rice was bland. Hot and sour soup was neither hot nor sour. Very bland also.
Do not order from this place. Very poor quality. Rice is hard and cold, definitely precooked days ahead, fried items smell of stale old oil, and are very hard. Noodles are overcooked and tasteless, once again probably made ahead and get overheated over and over again. My entire order went into trash. Worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. Very disappointed.
Hi, I have ordered and I paid for the i chose, I paid for deliver, for tax, for tip and everything. I have selected the item to deliver to me. But, the delivery man, he didn’t deliver to me and took me out to pick up. And he was rude to me. I will never order again
Usually don’t leave reviews but the food was not good. And it was pretty pricey. If there’s anything I despise is spending money on food that’s nasty. Just hands down not worth it.
My family and friends have been very disappointed with Jin Jin's food quality. They NEVER (and I mean NEVER) change the cooking oil, so all of their fried/grilled food tastes like burnt, expired grease. Yuck! Absolutely none of their food is fresh; everything comes out of a freezer or can. And their ingredients are usually the lowest grade imaginable. You are basically paying $40 for old, reheated leftovers cooked in stale oil. You might as well buy better tasting frozen dinners for $3 at any local supermarket. The staff is rude, impatient, and demanding. Their service is slower than a dead snail. We have been to several excellent Chinese restaurants in Philly, but this ain't one of them. Maybe Jin Jin should change their cooks and stop being so cheap with their ingredients and oil changes? For QUALITY Chinese fare, it is definitely worth the drive to Kin Wha (about two miles north on Bustleton Avenue) or Chinatown (about 30 minutes away in Center City). Those joints are seriously awesome! By the way, I am a real consumer, as proven by my 500 review, 10-year account history.
This was absolutely the most disgusting Chinese food I've ever eaten in my life. Threw the entire meal in the trash. Ordered a menu item with the description of "spicy chicken" and got a bowl of mostly raw celery and whole peanuts with a couple scraps of decidedly unspicy chicken at the bottom. The egg drop soup was foul. Even the rice was all dry like it had just been microwaved or something. 2 stars only because the delivery was very quick.
I have no idea how they have good reviews. Not only is it expensive compared to other places, but the food isn't even good. Very disappointing.
Jin Jin is the best. I love them. Order from grub hub all the time. Not stingy with the food at all and is soooo good.
Best in philly! Always fresh And clean kitchen! Nice food, nice people! Very CLEAN! Fast pick up!
Delicious, hot food delivered quickly. And the spicy food was actually spicy! We are so happy to see Jin Jin back up and running!
I always come grabbing some food in this place. I loved the prompt customer service and well prepared dishes. Great work.
