Grounds & Museum
The grounds and museum are fantasic. Great for a nice walk with beautiful scenary.

Wedding, Venue, and Services (JAM)
We had our wedding here and at first I was feeling a little insecure about it because our initial sales representative/planner was terrible. However, she had left JAM and her replacement, Darlene, was great! Our direct planner, Tara, was fantastic!

We expected hiccups in our day and were ready to embrace them, but the day was flawless and exceeded our expectations. The food was great, in large portions, and with immense diversity - our guests were very impressed. Staff was exceptional and the vendors they recommended for DJ (MRPevents) and officiant (Two Hearts, One Love) also exceeded our expectations and were reasonable priced.

We had a bird visit during cocktail hour and requested the raptor/hawk named Hooper. She was beautiful and guests were impressed as many had never seen a hawk this close. Her carrier was great as well and thanked us for picking her since most people pick the owls.

We got married on a Sunday and the venue was reasonably priced. Initially we were on the fence about a Sunday wedding but it made the entire weekend feel like the wedding itself and everyone who was important was there.

It's a beautiful place, I visited weekly.
It needs to stay that way.
Please protest the Lar Left and their ridiculous idea: changing the names of birds he discovered because they think he was a racist.

We are so happy we had our wedding at the John James Audubon Center! It has the most beautiful nature backdrop for pictures outside. Our ceremony and cocktail hour were in the barn and it was one of the most beautiful buildings. Our guests were so impressed by it! The reception in the pavilion was gorgeous with large windows, a fireplace and mantle, and ample space for our guests. Our JAM coordinator was the MVP of the day and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I would highly recommend having your wedding at the John James Audubon Center!

Lots of great walking trails. Great place to get some exercise or birdwatch (they even have a bird blind). There is a building too, but I did not have the opportunity to check it out.

Absolutely beautiful venue to hold your wedding. I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding here, and it is so magical. During the ceremony deer came out to watch and the sunset and moonrise were majestic. Staff are very friendly! Highly recommend!

Took my 4-month-old here to check the place out as on Google it looked like there were live shows and a small zoo like experience.
The museum is great to read about local and non-locally found birds and how they live and fly, its also dedicated to the life and art of John James Audubon, whom the town is also named after.
The museum has some aspects that are geared towards kids, but dont expect to spend a great deal of time here playing. When I was there (a thursday in July), there were no shows with live birds or anything. The property has a few birds in habitats, but they were blocked off.
The surrounding nature trails and property are gorgeous, and you can spot many different birds and wildlife along the trails
Overall, it is a really educational museum dedicated to birds and the towns' namesake, who, as it turns out, wasn't really a great person, and nature trails which are beautiful.

The trails are great for running, cycling, bird watching, or hiking. We did the Audubon loop, which was a little over 5 miles with minimum elevation gain. The trail can get confusing when meeting up with the Perkiomen and Schuylkill River Trails! There are no dogs allowed within the loop trail and the other trails the Audubon Center has to offer. The $14 admission fee is only for the museum, not the trails. I wouldn’t mind coming back to do the other shorter trails the Center has to offer.

As a wedding venue, JJAC is absolutely beautiful. We have loved working with the staff both through JJAC and JAM. We cannot wait for our wedding in just a few weeks. The spaces they have allotted for weddings is maintained and set up perfectly. The staff has been nothing but friendly and accommodating.

This place is amazing. A total hidden gem. So much to do and see. We will definitely be going back. Go Sunday morning-it's free, and you'll have the place to yourself. Fun activities for all ages, indoors and out.

John James Audubon Center has exceeded our expectations so far as a wedding venue. Our coordinators and the staff have been nothing but supportive every step of the way. They have accommodated us and made sure that we are enjoying the planning process! Our tasting was incredible as well. I’m so glad it was on site so we could see everything set up! The food and overall experience made us even more excited for our big day. We are now less than two months out and I can’t recommend JJAC enough!

I found this disclaimer in the house at the back of the property. My suggestion to you would be to
A. Bulldoze this place and stop making money off of him if he was such a monster
Or
B Put your disclaimer out front of the entrance so people can decide if they want to pay before they come in.
