John's Supply & Rental, Narvon PA

I ordered a cord of wood from Johns Supply and Rental upon stacking it I found it to be a full 1/3 shy of a cord (4ft x 4ft x 8ft) I visited their place of business to try to resolve the problem in a friendly manner. When I stated the issue with the owners I was met with open hostility and they accused me of trying to cheat them saying I must of gave a truck load away to a friend. I tried to discuss this with them saying that is it possible someone made an honest mistake or maybe their cord measurement might be off. Again I was met with hostility to the point the lady owner Johns daughter accused me of robbing a house down the road. This is the most outrageous business treatment of a customer I have ever experienced. In the end they refunded me for 1/3 of a cord of wood. In doing so they are openly admitting their guilt of wrong doing. This could have been handled in a much better way. It makes one wonder how many other customers they sell short and blame it on the customer. Terrible business practice and horrible lady owner. Do Not Buy Anything From Them! Obviously they forgot how to measure a cord of wood being sold but have not forgot how to count a customers money they have shorted. The state has put you on notice and will be watching you! Did you forget your other reviews from 2 yrs.ago where you accused a customer you shorted a full cord of cheating you?
