Attended a wedding there Saturdsy evening and the staff did a marvelous job the entire evening. They were very attentive and friendly and were a big help in making the event go smootjly

This place is so beautiful, the grounds, the buildings and the interior decor beautiful. Our check-in was fast but we were never given any information for wi-fi access, what time breakfast would be served or that you can always grab coffee, snacks or a quick bite in the registration office if you must leave before breakfast is served. We stayed in the stone bank barn above the restaurant, the rooms a very comfortable but the noise from the kitchen below was extremely loud. We had a private birthday party and the service was so-so, food was adequate but the cake was so dry we couldn’t even eat it.

Amazing place! There are clean rooms and cozy atmosphere. Also i liked the restaurant, they have big choice of great food.

This place is one of the highest rated in the area. I've been staying here for a very long time. If you stay for a few nights you for sure won't be let down.

Beautiful country setting. Excellent appetizers and buffet array for a wedding. Class act

Great ambiance and food was excellent! Service very good. Can't ask for more than that. My dessert was free done it was my birthday.

People were great, venue was beautiful, loved the room, king size studio, had breakfast, was very good. Didn't eat in restaurant for dinner, had other plans. Would come back.

Beautiful patio seating and the appetizers were delicious! Also had a waitress that gave an excellent-sized pour with my glass of wine.

Really wanted to have a great review for the Hotel version of the property - but it all ended badly and would not trust this establishment going forward. Have left a personal message to get a call from the owner, which was never returned - even after having a rental car stolen right out of their parking lot. There is little to no lighting, no cameras and no security - front office was very nonchalant when reported the car stolen and called the police - no support from the office or staff - left dealing with a horrible experience by oneself (very low integrity all around) - again would have loved to stay at this venue a lot more over the coming years (was there up to 10 days in two weeks) but there is still a responsibility and higher level of trust people need to be held too. If all they want is your money - then fair warning!

It was our anniversary and we had a very nice table outside on the patio. The weather was fabulous and the food was very good. The service was overall good but the waitstaff was under staffed (as is everywhere these days) and they were all running around like crazy to stay on top of their customers. But they all truly cared about providing the best possible service they could. I would highly recommend the Joseph Ambler Inn.

We ate at the bar, the food was okay (homemade is better), drinks were a little expensive, I would go back again but would have to dress much warmer.
They need to install coat hangers.

We came here for a wedding, from what we seen everything about this place was really beautiful, the food the staff there it was all good, the food was really good we couldn't complain about that, the place itself was really beautiful. We will definitely come back and eat at the restaurant. I would say definitely give this place a try, you definitely won't be disappointed.

Mother's 80th Birthday party was met with the Bartender catering our 20 person brunch while also covering the bar area. The experience wasn't like in the past. Brunch came out over an hour later. Service could have been much better.

Great place for a lovely meal or intimate event like a wedding or formal party. Great staff. Beautiful venue with options for dining indoors or outdoors under shady canopy. Ample parking, fully accessible grounds and restrooms. Prices are a little steep but the service and quality dining experiences are worth it.

Great for a weekend getaway! The property is beautiful and the rooms are very nice with a historic colonial feel.we only stayed one night since we had to get back home. We did have a problem with the heat in the room, but managed to keep each other warm. THe room was clean and the bed was very firm but comfortable. Recommended for a romantic getaway.

Great atmosphere, five stars! We felt they could work on their flavors. For example, the baked brie could have been cooked longer and the chutney was flavorless. The Creme Brûlée needed fresh fruit on top or something bright. My risotto was not something I wish to repeat.

Amazing atmosphere, the grounds are beautiful! My husband and I had a wonderful lunch for our 26th year anniversary. I was very impressed with the service and the food. We will definitely be back.
