This place is one of the worst in Philly. The employees of this business talk to customers as if they are insulting them. This bad experience has happened to me several times, they are never ready with their meals and they are always in a bad mood and attitudes. With today they go twice, I called in less than a month and the same thing happened to me both times. But today I called and spoke to the owner of the business and he placed my order for a haitian turnover, they told me that my order was ready in 25 minutes and I told him that it was okay for it to take 40 minutes just because I know they weren't going to be ready. Before I went there, I called again and they told me that everything was ready. Well, when I arrived there was a girl and another very rude cook who started insulting me. I don't think this business should be open to serve food either they didn't give me my order.
I really do not recommend this place to anyone.

The food was very good. I ordered a patty and the place is very clean. Everything is in order but the waiting time it’s about 10 to 15 minutes but food is great.

The food was hot and delicious. I didn't have to wait long after placing my order. It was my first time there and I'll definitely be back

I'm really glad that I've had the opportunity to try Haitian food! It's delicious. I've tried the chicken, goat meat, beef, fritay and now the turkey. It's all delicious! The brown rice and beans, as well as the pasta and cheese, is uniquely made, and very tasty! They also give you a hearty portion of food, and charge very reasonable prices! The inside of the restaurant looks very nice too. It may be small, but I would take Joyeuse Bakery and Restaurant over any corporate restaurant!

I'm highly disappointed with my order. The griot was dry and the pikliz was sweet. I Don't know if you gave me old pikliz but I'm pretty sure pikliz should be spicy. Haitians need to do better with making food fresh because you lost a customer.

My first tine eating from here. They gave me spoiled legume. I couldn't take it back to get my money because I had already gotten all the way home to eat my food.

I came here a few weeks ago from out of state with my Uncle. The food was amazing and hit the spot. The owner was nice, respectful, funny, and provided us a tour of the place which had a beautiful function space to hold a lot of people. It was more than expected after being in a hospital all day. The place was spotless, the pikliz was everything you could imagine with the perfect spices. They had tablet, cakes, and breads. The food was by far the best in PA. I will say we would travel again to come here and refer everyone we know. Thank you for the excellent service! We'll see you again soon.

The receptionist is very rude on the phone and has no customer service skill. Please go to Lakay where the staff has better manners. The dude over at Joyeuse needs to sign up for Hospitality 101 class cuz he is totally MAL ELEVÉ! This store doesn't even a one star rating. I just chose that 1 -star since there were no options for a -10000000 star. Go to Lakay restaurant in the corner of Rising Sun Ave and Levick. You'll thank me later

A special place, delicious Jamaican original food, with a special fusion of Latin & American food.too good. Yummy.
Not to mention the party room upstairs, a 5 star hotel like atmosphere, neat & clean for birthdays or baby shower. Great people.
Thanks for the wonderful & caring services.

I love supporting my people, but this restaurant is horrible every time.absolutely no respect for their customers. I called and preorder my food an hour in advanced, arrived to pick up my food and still my food isn’t ready. I waited over 40 mins waiting for my food only to be told that they don’t have it and not only that.the guy gets extremely rude and disrespectful. And poor quality food. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

I love this Haitian restaurant for many reasons. Such as quick services, long hours, and best of all delicious food. Also, they have friendly customer service.

Ordered from here for my Mother’s 76th birthday this past weekend. Everything was very good! If you like spicy food, which I do, it is great. I gave four stars only because I ordered four patties but only received three. That may not warrant a full star but there was also another mixup in the order.
Aside from that, the food was very very good!
Bon bon bon.
