11JP Kelley did an excellent job on stripping and refinishing my grandparents old/oil painted Martha Washington Sewing Cabinet! It looks amazing now and we couldn't be happier with it. He was very helpful in assisting us with choosing the right stain. Very nice man to work with!
JP refinished our family's antique dining room set and we couldn't be happier with the result. He took great care to strip, sand, and refinish each piece by hand and make sure the final finish was the best it could be. JP is easy to work with, has good communication, and really listened to what we were asking for to make sure we were comfortable with the process and satisfied with the work.
I am so pleased with my table JP refinished! It was my grandmothers and was in such bad shape I didnt know if it was even fixable. He not only fixed it but the job he did refinishing it was phenomenal! It is beautiful!
Had 2 antique chairs that were in pretty poor shape and covered with an old, very dark finish. J. P.restored them to as close to original condition as possible. I was afraid to pick them up before and can now sit in them comfortably, and the new finish has the wood grain showing in beautiful contrast.

JP Kelley refinished our family heirloom dining room table and credenza. He did a spectacular job on these difficult pieces. We couldn’t be happier.
These Willet Furniture solid cherry pieces are from the mid-1950s. The original 7-layer wax finish was dulled and damaged from decades of wear. There were deep stains on the credenza. JP had to strip everything down to bare wood, work out the stains, and build it all back up with a bulletproof semi-gloss finish.
The new finish brings out so much more detail in the wood we never knew was there. And, we don’t have to worry about setting glasses on the table and leaving rings anymore.
JP is a dedicated old-school artisan who charges very reasonable prices. It’s hard to find this level of quality anymore. You can trust your family heirlooms to him.
