Kalahari Resorts & Conventions - Poconos, Pocono Manor PA

Beautiful resort but. Overpriced. Crowded. No mask mandate while outside of the water park. I'm fully vaccinated but we all know that doesn't mean anything now so I still had my mask on while not in the waterpark area. Staff wasn't enforcing anything. (Wearing masks are optional for them too.) I got sick the morning after eating at the Great Karoo buffet. I had a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom suite. Beautiful and spacious. Early check-in available. We were alerted via text when the suite was ready but we found a stain on the carpet by the fridge. Informed staff but we were told that they are not allowed to come into the rooms once the family checks in due to COVID-19 smh but meanwhile no one in the resort is wearing masks! Y'all can't be too concerned about COVID-19 if y'all not enforcing a mask mandate. Overall, we had fun but don't think we will be back.

High price for minimal accommodations thus far. No coffee maker, no conditioner, safe not working. No virtual slides working. Have been in this hotel before for the price this is not worth it thus far will follow up review upon check out.
So as a follow, up I do want too stress that all the staff were great and professional. They responded quickly to get us a coffee maker as well. I stick by what I said before it is very expensive. It is a nice family place and yes you can have a lot of fun. The thing that kinda ruined the trip was none of the experience were posted they were down. So we didn't get to do the things that were new at the park or update what are the amenities for the room. Plus they need to up the sanitizer stations. I gave it three stars this time around mostly due to prices and not able to provide what is advertised.

Kalahari was a nice resort room was nice and clean the arcade area was super cute and fun if you have kids.the water park was super fun.restaurant’s are super $$$$$ but there is a cafe next to the arcade that the food is decent not as pricey…

I had so much fun great customer service fresh food and great food and water rides I have to check out the spa

This trip was an amazing experience! The waterpark is huge, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the zanizabar was even better! My children loved the arcade it’s was so much to do. We will definitely come back in a few weeks.

Downgrading it to 2 starts. The management of this place obviously does not care about well being of their guests. Bathrooms are missing basic soap and only in front of the bathroom you will find the lonely sanitizer stand. Place works of idea to stuff as many people as possible. Their website is as well disorganized and lacks basic directions where one has to show up if only purchasing a day pass.

I have to say when driving up, the resort looks very nice and well kept. Inside is clean and nice looking. Stayed here for 2 days. During the stay the room was so so. Shower has barely any pressure to take a good shower. Noisy ac that has a mind of its own. The water park on friday was not bad. Saturday forget it. It was a mad house. Everything was jamed packed. Food/drink prices are outrageous. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Amazing resort, price wasn’t bad at all. I wish the elevator wasn’t so far from my room was lol. But probably the best water park I’ve been to. Went for my niece’s 4th birthday and she was the only kid. 1 kid and 5 adults. We ALL enjoyed our selves.

Great water park always a blast. Been here a couple times the best. But today I got room 7409 and two family members saw a small ghost kid run towards the master room. No other complaints. Very good place

Decided to visit the Pocono location after going to the one in the Dells. The Pocono is an utter disappointment. The bathroom was not clean. It took housekeeping 5 hours to show up after multiple calls. The air conditioning had a leak and the entire carpet surrounding it was soaked, I wouldn’t be surprised if there was mold underneath the carpet. The water park itself is small and is extremely overcrowded. It costs $35 for a large locker rental and $9 for a hot dog. Keep your expectations low when visiting this particular location

An awesome indoor water park that has something for everyone My lil Girl loves this place, especially the Ziplining and tree climbing courses.

This is a great place to stay for every age of your family party! From slides too the buffet it was all great. Although, I do not recommend the outdoor Mini golf course, our family was very excited too come too find out after a 20 min wait, they were out of golf balls. (Their was only 5 people on the course). On top of that, they sayed it was open with everything you need too enjoy, very disappointing. Everything else, is a must see, and a must experience!
