I had used this business for suit alterations after I had previously used another local business, and was very unsatisfied with the results. I took my suit here, and they were immediately able to tell me what they could do to fix it. The alterations were done within a timely manner, and I'm extremely happy with the way it all turned out. The staff were extremely helpful and an absolute joy to work with. I recommend anyone with suit alterations go here to get it done right the first time

NOT SO CAREFUL. With the excellent Hampden Cleaners going out of business, I've used this clearer twice and won't go back. First time I brought in a dozen shirts. One came back with a broken button, which they fixed. Second time I bought in six shirts including one brand new just out of the package I had to return two for a poor job in pressing. The third shirt, the new one, had a stain on the cuff which was not there when I brought it in. They claimed they couldn't have done it and were very rude about it "what do you think.we eat in the back".

Well fine. 250 work days a year. Clean shirt each day. 3 bucks a shirt. Plus suits. I'll take my $1K of annual business someplace else and recommend you consider doing the same.

Mr. Kaplan was absolutely outstanding.

I needed very specific measurements for an outfit being made in India. He was so thorough and patient. I was able to come in without an appointment and he really took his time doing the measurements to ensure they were just what I needed. He made me feel so comfortable and had an uncanny sense of humor.

I also got measurements done for a bridesmaid dress from Azazie.

I will definitely be going back in the future for more custom fittings (and to get these gorgeous, detailed outfits cleaned!)

Kaplan’s saves me time and makes me look good. They offer the best tailoring service I ever had in my life because they take the time to ask what I want altered before & during the fitting process. Their experienced and very through. They offer great fabric companies to choose from if you want to make a new custom shirt, suit, etc. The dry cleaning, shoe repair and fabric repair always exceed my expectations. I highly recommend them!

Kaplan's tailored my wedding dress and I could not be any happier with how it turned out. I wanted to add bow-tie sleeves, a corset, a thigh slit, alter the hem, add a shadow train, cups removed and new ones put in. Not only did they deliver, they exceeded my expectations. My dress could not have come out more gorgeous. 10000% recommend for alterations!

SAVED THE WEDDING!

You can't have a wedding without a dress, or maybe you can but I wasn't willing too.

I got a call a month before my wedding from David's Bridal explaining to me they wouldn't have my dress ready in time for our wedding scheduled for this upcoming June 18th.

I had already taken our four girls bridesmaids dresses to Kaplan's so I knew he was going to be my next call.

His daughter answered and I explained to her the situation and she told me to come in the following day. I said, "Does Dale have time to alter my wedding dress in time for the wedding? " She said "if he doesn't he'll make time! "

She put my mind at ease right away and I could breathe again.

When I met with Dale for my fiting he couldn't have been sweeter and more sincere and willing to help a panicked bride to be. He was the exact same way with my girls when I took them in there a few weeks before.

The least I could do was to leave a review. I had a brides maid dress that I tried on and didn’t fit about 4 days before the wedding. I was recommended this place and wanted to give it a try. I was in panic mode when they originally told me I needed an appointment for alterations due to prom season, but they bent over backwards to fit me in, finish alterations, and it looked beautiful! Very friendly and helpful. HIGHLY recommend!

I had three fast fashion maxi dresses hemmed. Mr. Kaplan is very nice and explained what he was doing as he marked the dresses. They were steamed and wrinkle free when I picked them up, the hems are perfectly stitched, and now I have dresses that actually fit me! Would recommend!
