Great apartment building! Been living here almost a year and have no complaints. The security desk is always great and the cafe in the lobby is my go to! Maintenance responds quickly to your requests. If you’re looking for an apartment building that is close to campus I definitely recommend!

This place doesn't even deserve one star. This is the third day in a row that it is over 90 degrees Fahrenheit and I am without air conditioning. Fourth day in a week. Maintenance came the first day I requested service and the second and they basically didn't believe there was a problem, they kept telling me it was fixed because the fans were running in the system but it was clearly uninhabitably hot in my apartment. There was clearly a problem and it was disregarded time after time. I continued to press the management asking for a solution, if we were going to be stuck in a 90 degree apartment I at least asked for fans or me to be accommodated in an apartment with working AC temporarily. After all of this the HVAC guy after his second time coming out, after the first time telling me nothing was wrong, said the water supply was coming in at 120 degrees Fahrenheit which is why the apartment was heating up to above 90 degrees. On the second day with no air, the management and maintenance left the property without giving me any update of when anything would be fixed. I had to hassle the security guard downstairs to call for an update for me. They said someone would be there to assure my system was working by that evening. By 9pm, still nothing. I went down to the front desk 5 times to ask them to accommodate me some how, to please not leave me in an uninhabitable apartment. After the 5th time they finally gave me the key to an apartment with working AC. This was after two whole days of being stuck in 90 degrees when I asked for some solution the first day only to be neglected. Today is the third day, were 2 hours out from the end of the business day. Still no AC. This management team sucks so bad, and I would not advise anybody to live here. In a true emergency situation such as this, a resident paying over $1000 a month who has always paid on time and has lived here for a year, you'd think management would do even the simplest thing to accommodate me, even provide me with a fan. But nothing. Shame on them. Don't ever live here.

When you are paying over $800 a month for a student apartment, you would think the amenities would be abundant and the staff would be quick on their feet to fix any issue. I've found that to be far from the case. On top of the stupidly thin walls, I've had a different maintenance issue nearly every month I've been here from leaky ceilings to lack of hot water (THREE TIMES) in the apartment. This weekend when the air conditioning went out was the final straw for me. Air conditioning has been gone for some residents for over a week. Mine has been weakening but gave out yesterday on a 100 degree day. Last night we received an email saying the staff was working "diligently" to fix the issue. Cut to today and we receive an email saying maintenance won't come in until TOMORROW MORNING to fix it and even then it will take up to 12 hours. They tried to make it seem like not that big of an issue by saying it will only be a high of 75 tomorrow. Sure, that's great, but what about today and yesterday when the high is 100 and 92 degrees respectively? This is a complete outrage and entirely unacceptable. If you want a pretty apartment with big windows and a long list of practical issues, you've found your place.

My experience living in Kardon-Atlantic wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. Kardon is definitely on the more expensive end when it comes to off campus housing. When I moved in things were broken, my sink leaked the whole time I was there until they just completely replaced it, signing in guests is a hassle, it smells like pot constantly (but so does everywhere close it campus), and the laundry was expensive (2$ each for the washer and 2$ for the dryer) both machines were often broken and also ruined some of my clothes. In all, I would recommend looking for different housing if you're a temple student, it's not hard to find. But if you're running out of options, Kardon isn't awful. The only saving grace of Kardon is that the security guards are awesome, especially Darrell and Mr. Mike.

The toilet was clogged due to a maintenance worker when we first moved in and didn't bother to fix it. The paint rubs off the walls and onto your clothes. My roommate found a roach, the laundry destroyed my clothes, it has thin walls and the price is crazy. I do not recommend - Junior at Temple

I live in Kardon for two years. The location is convenience, the building is great and the most of all, people are nice and helpful.

This is the perfect place to live if you enjoy listening to your neighbor's TV, music, and loud conversations at all times. This was by far the nosiest apartment building I have ever lived in.

My time at Kardon felt like living in chaos. My apartment was broken in to twice in 6 months and management did NOTHING to resolve the issues. We asked for new keys/ locks/ etc. Nothing happened. I would not recommend this place if you are over 5'10 because the beds are made for children!

Kardon is the definition of overprice. All the apartments are built terribly. The walls are so thin you can hear your neighbors sneeze. If you have issues with your neighbors good luck having management handling it. Half the apartments face the train so if you like sleeping in you can say goodbye to that. The elevators are always broken so you may want to pick the ground floor. Overall there are better options for what you pay and Kardon is not one of them.

Lived here for over 2 years and I have no complaints. They have done renovations to the building and are constantly improving. Leasing office is great and they answer and fix all problems quickly. Only issue is the walls are thin and the ceilings don't completely go to the top so you can see light coming from another room. Also street parking is tough during the day since it's up the street from Temple. Great amenities.

Worst experience ever, management is non responsive, maintenance will either take 2 weeks or not respond at all to requests. Horrible mixtures of smells everywhere in the building that never seem to go away. Fire alarms randomly went off for hours in the middle of the night almost monthly with no answers as to why. Walls are paper thin, could hear everything on both sides of my apartment, would NOT recommend this place to anyone, RUN AWAY! Wouldn't even give it 1 star but its required.

First, I am a student, and >90% of the residents are also students.

Let me be clear, I liked the apartment itself. The high ceilings and huge windows were great. As were the wifi lounge and other amenities. There were details that I did not enjoy, such as the unfinished trim in the bathroom, occasional leaky ceiling (during storms. And in an apartment complex on the fifth floor, how does that even happen?) and very noisy neighbors.

Management is difficult to work with and often feels miles away. Took months to resolve one issue regarding money. I got charged $50 for a furniture clean out fee upon move-out, even though I cleaned out the apartment. The property manager won't return my emails now that I have moved out.

Overall, go for it. Not a bad place to live IF you can't find true off-campus housing.

I lived here during the 2015/2016 school year and it was honestly the biggest mistake of my life. You can hear everything everyone around your room is doing, maintenance workers are inappropriately creepy, management poorly handles any situations, and if I could give this zero stars I would. Never live here. You get get so much more for your money somewhere else.
