KBox Karaoke House reviews
23I enjoyed myself and so did the bachelorette party! I would definitely go again! My only gripe is the range of music choices on the karaoke machine is vary narrow for me. I enjoy today's and 80's, and 90's black hip hop artists and well.a much broader range than was available.
Authentic Japanese style karaoke. (Friends required). Sing your hearts out in private room with drinks available
They try their best to make sure you have a good time but also respond to the bell as soon as they can get to you so you have your drinks or food in hand. It was a blast. Went for a sisters birthday party. Had a great time.
Probably the most viable Karaoke for students in Pittsburgh. Not too pricey, English song selection was okay. Sound system was a bit finicky
If you're into karaoke, it's great. If you're not, be warned: these are private rooms; you can't escape your friends in a crowd because your friends are the crowd.
This was the first time at a karaoke house for my two friends and I. We spent over 4 hrs there and had a great time.
Nice play to sing karaoke, pricing is reasonable. I usually go with my boyfriend for 2 hours so we will end up with under $40. I like that they serve water, the sounds system is decent. But the song selection is limited (I most sing US-UK songs and Vietnamese) and the search is not user friendly.
We had a great time. Some of the videos were messed up- lyrics and music not synched. Another wasn't the correct song for the title that was typed in. I thought the interface was very easy to use. Appreciated that they allowed us to bring snack food and cake. Contrary to some comments I saw online, it is not byob, but their prices are super reasonable.
We don't want to knock this place because we did end up having fun at our trial run here, but honestly, we were a bit unpleasantly surprised. The place wasn't super clean. It wasn't dirty either, but it was dusty on the stairs as well as on the pleather couches. Our problem was with electrical shorts in the microphones, which caused them to repeatedly cut out and stop working momentarily. There were similar issues with the speakers volume cutting in and out. The electrical cords for the sound system were strewn haphazardly all over the floor. It looked unprofessional and like a liability. One of the plugs hung suspended in the air plugged into a surge protector dangling 4 feet above the ground! We would give it another shot though. They have lots of Asian songs, but if you're hungover and your brain can barely manage to recall any songs in your native English to sing: don't even try to use the nifty feature where you can write in your rustiest Kanji, Kana, Hangul or Chinese to find your favorite pop songs. Unfortunately, you cannot type in Namie Amuro, etc, in English, and expect any results. If you you forget Japanese, you're screwed. We were totally sober and still had fun and the staff was nice and did her best to be helpful. She also brought us a carafe water twice to make sure we didn't get parched from all the singing, and/or to make sure there was no dirty-dirty going on!
Great service, atmosphere and staff! Accommodated a large group for a birthday party and we all had a blast. Would highly recommend!
It's really fun if you like karaoke. You get a private room with a computer to load and queue up songs to sing, you can ring for drinks, really cool.
They didn't have enough contemporary music and the machine had a glitch that we had to wait out. The people and service were good though.
This is a classic Karaoke room style bar. It is fun, alcohol is sold by the bottle, and pieces for the room and drinks are reasonable. We had about 20 people this weekend and had a lot of fun! The service was slow though, and the venue was only half full, so I can't imagine it on a busier night.
Great, clean facility. Gets hot in the rooms though. Complimentary water and cheap, well priced drinks.
Great place! Reminded me a lot of Japanese-style karaoke boxes! Staff were super friendly and helpful, the room was clean and the sound equipment were top notch! Highly recommended.
First impression: seedy cross between a "massage parlor" and a frat house. However, a really cool place, super sound equipment and fantastic service. Totally recommend for bachelor/ette parties or just a crazy get together.
Best karaoke in town! You can actually request songs to be added to their system, and their chicken tender is soooo good!
Very friendly staff, a huge variety of songs, and it was very easy to split the check. Great for a Friday night!
Went last night for the second time. Im not a singer by any sense of the word, but this place allows you a private space to have fun trying to sing with a private group. I signed up for a yearly membership, well worth the savings if you plan to go regularly.
