Good place for a free lunch on Saturday and Sunday. Good people trying to help the less fortunate.
Wednesday's they give out groceries and Saturday's and Sunday's they serve hot meals from 1140 til 1. Food is made by wonderful volunteers.
One of my family member works here for free to help the homeless. I even met a sister that helps and they do so much to help. Some days they run out of food to give to the homeless. I believe they need more donations. Time is so hard and it hurt to tell someone there no more food. This is a great place to donate because it will go to the ones that need that help.
I have volunteered at this soup kitchen on more than 1 occasion with other family members and friends. These people truly needed the help and it feels so good to do just that. You can see how happy they are to get off of the streets and sit down and break bread together in a cafeteria style hall. They are usually very thankful too and they will make sure you know it.
