Amusement Park Kennywood reviews
16Listen what is this all going to say and I have been I’m Pittsburgh boy my whole life and I have went there since I’ve been a child I see all your ads on TV now and when your place turns dark who do you think wants to come there I haven’t been there in 10 years at least and would never come back as well as the rest of my family and everybody that I know and I’m getting sick of seeing your ads on TV when a place turns dark you’re not gonna get the good people there ever again you’re just in the wrong neighborhood and that’s very unfortunate for Kennydark But most of us people don’t want to get shot and die good luck to your joke park
We had a great time at Kennywood. It was all dressed up for Christmas. Every gift shop had all items 75%off. My 4 year old granddaughter loved it.
Light Up Night with 8 children 5 - 9 years old could be out of control but it wasn't. The staff working that night was fantastic. They enjoyed interacting with all of the kids and adults. Thank you for making their fun night possible.
Beautiful lights. Tons to do. Very family friendly. Bunch of rides, games and food stands open. Petting zoo too!
Took my 2 year old to the Christmas event thing they do. And it was an absolutely amazing night. My son had so much fun rode so many rides. Such nice decorations and lighting. Characters they have some warming stations. And a nice fire pit with decent seating. I will be coming back. And I highly recommend it
Fright fest event.long lines but but they moved at a good pace.nice attraction.haunted house was really good.
I love Kennywood and still need to ride the new coaster! Their prices are getting expensive though
I used to go to Kennywood as a child and I forgot how small it is. We went during a less busy time so we were able to tide everything several times. Good place for a family as it's not too big or overwhelming though anyone above a teenage may get bored after a short while.
My family and I had a wonderful day at Kennywood on Sunday. The lights are beautiful and the rides, treats and food made for a memorable experience! A gentle snowfall added to the scenery.
Yeah for a what kennywood is, super old steel mill now rusted out city amusement park. That was bought by a foreign family that might as well got it as a wedding gift for their youngest daughter. The seasonal events are nice. The under staffing this year 2021 was hard on the fright nights. But they were good. The pumpkin elephant ears were great. $8 for an ear of corn is a joke. You go an hour outside this city and you are charged 50 cents for an ear lol.
Went for Holiday Lights, it was so much fun! Ate some potato patch fries, kids enjoyed the rides and Noah’s Ark! The train display was amazing too!
I haven't been here in a few years and it's terrible. The fall festival food was horrible. The potato patch fries were disappointing. The only reason I wanted to go was to ride steel curtain - it was closed so was half of the other rides. I'd rather pay extra and go to Cedar point or six flags
Tonight was the first day of Kennywood holiday lights. Everything looked so pretty lit up with Christmas lights. There was a few rides open for adults, kiddie land was open with a petting zoo too! There was A camel, a zebra, some sheep and lots of goats. There was also food stands open and gift shops. It's a great way to spend an evening.
This review is just for Thomas Town at Kennywood Park. Our 2yr old loves Thomas and this was just enough to entertain her. She was able to go on several rides including multiple thomas train rides. The train ride is a little squeaky, but they play music or have thomas talking to cover it up and then a great view of the river and train tracks.a little industrial looking. My daughter loves that kind of stuff so we enjoyed it. There are life sized trains of Percy, Gordon, Emily and James.and Thomas pulls the train ride. Also, Cranky is way up there. The giftshop has, exclusive to Kennywood, Thomas gear and all the other trains. They have a lot to choose from. I can't find this stuff online and it is reasonably priced. Flynn's fire truck ride involves water.a raincoat might be really useful ;)
The rides are not super exciting for older kids, but they are rides parents and toddlers can go on together. I'm 5ft10in and I went on all the rides comfortably.
Went to holiday lights, barley anything open in the park. Park Entertainment was tacky and the sound system at the stage was poorly run. The kids singing from the local schools microphones were to high up on the stands for the small kids singing so you couldn’t hear them. They music was to loud during there performance as well. No directions on we’re food or what rides were open. Had to roam around the park and figure it out on our own.
