Kimbertal Kennels, Phoenixville PA

I purchased a male doberman from Kimbertal Kennels 6 years ago. He was well socialized but still became extremely aggressive when he was grown. I am an experienced dog handler, but this dog was not sound. (I loved him deeply and was crushed when I had to return him)
The dog was guaranteed, but don’t count on the kennels to follow through with their promises.
I told them that I was not ready for a puppy right away after returning my boy, and I was told not to worry, the guarantee was forever. About 6 months later, I contacted them. They promised they would contact me when a puppy was available that I was eligible for. I have been waiting 6 years. I do contact them periodically, but a puppy has NEVER been available for me. There HAVE been puppies, don’t get me wrong, but I’m not eligible for just any puppy, it has to be an “internet special”
Buyer beware!

We purchased two Rotties from Kimbertal. Other than being a little pricey, they have been great. My first lived to be 14 yrs old and never developed hip or leg problems. He died naturally. He walked on his own the day he died. My second Rottie is 2.5 yrs old and doing great. He very well socialized.

I purchased two doberman from them. My sister purchased two doberman from them and my brother purchased to rottweiler. Also cousin purchase a Roswell. We all were very satisfied with the dogs, professionalism and the temperament of the dogs.

If you want a Rottweiler or Doberman this is the only place to go best in the buisness quality quality quality.

Exceptional breeders that genuinely care. They always are kind and friendly, and they have no hesitation on sharing advice and experience.

I have gotten 2 dobermans directly from Kimbertal and one indirectly from a sire from here. They are the best dogs I have had the pleasure to live with. Anne and the staff are great people to work with. I can't say enough positive things about this kennel!

Our dog from here was $3,000 and only lived to 4 years old because of a cancerous cell in his body. Yesterday was his birthday and now today we had to put him down because of the pain he was in. I would not be surprised if your dog from here is carrying the same cancerous cell that was in mine. If you are reading this, save your time and money and go somewhere else. If you already have a dog from here get it checked immediately by a vet.

I've bought two dobermans from kimbertal and am here to pick up my third puppy. Owners and employees are personable, informative, intelligent and have the knowledge that comes from breeding world class dobermans for I guess 50 plus years now. I know they also breed Rottweilers but I know nothing about them so I can't comment. As long as they keep doing what they do, I will keep buying dobermans from them and recommend anyone interested in one consider kimbertal. God bless.

I have owned two Kimbertal Dobermans in my life. The first male puppy I picked up was not a match for me so I called the kennel, they said no problem bring him back and pick out another one. I picked out another male pup and he was wonderful. Rocky was an amazing pet and I loved him till I lost him to pancreatic cancer. What more can you ask of any business than that they stand behind their guarantee, Kimbertal does that. Dogs are not machines, they are living creatures each one very different. If I ever decide to get another Doberman I would not hesitate to go back to Kimbertal.

DO NOT purchase a doberman from Kimbertal. My dog, Justice and his brother, Rockne, just recently passed from DCM. They were only six years old. Our families trusted Kimbertal, spent $3,000 on each dog and now we have suffered the worst heartbreak ever along with very large vet bills and many emergency visits. Why would an establishment continue to put out litters where these innocent babies are being put through so much. It is sloppy breeding and they need to stop.

I purchased a Doberman from kimbertal kennels and he was the most beautiful and loving dog I have ever know. He had a soul due to long lines of breeding. He gave me ten years of unconditional love and compassion that no person could ever give.he was protective and alert. I have two other dogs a shepherd mix and a shitzu that he gently took dominance to without aggression. He was great with my kids. I miss him every day and thank kimbertal for their care in breeding the top of the line dogs. I have never written a review before but my Xander is worth it.

Bought 2 dobs from them and 1 was ok quality the other was not at all. It tried to but my 3 year old in the face. Luckily she move away just in time. I Kimbertal about this and they treat your dog like it’s a washer or dryer “Bring it in and we can exchange if for a different one”. Save the $1500+ and adopt. We are down to 1 dog for the price of two. Very bad customer service as well

Have had two dogs from Kimbertal, both great companions. We have a rescue right now that started out her life at Kimbertal. What a great find. She has taken to my wife like no other dog ever has. Harli thinks the sun rises & sets on my wife.

I’ve wanted a dog from kimbertal for about six years. 6 years ago, before I purchased a dog I lucked out and found a wonderful Rottweiler at a pound near me. In January he past away. Same month the owner of kimbertal past as well. In February I decided to leave a deposit of $500 to be put on a list of buyers to pick a pup. We saw many pictures of pups but none were the right ones until November.

We finally thought we found the right pup. Paid the remaining $2400 and prepped our home for our new pup.

On the update picture I noticed a white spot on the pups chest. This was 3 days before we had planned on receiving the pup. I asked through email if there was any white on the pup after seeing this. She told me she noticed the white spot on the chest only today while taking the update picture. So when was she planning on informing us? She wasn’t. We were going to receive this pup and were going to have to make the tough decision of sending it back. What a cruel process for us and the dog that would have been. Not one apology! I have all the emails to prove all of this.

They did refund all my money. And I took my business elsewhere. As someone that is purchasing a pup from a different state. You really need to trust the information given by the breeder. We felt these people would have sold us anything. The pedigree even arrived at my home and I sent it back.

I’m sure people get great pups from kimbertal. I’ve read great things. Just wasn’t worth the risk for us.

My wife and I purchased a Male Red & Rust Doberman from Kimbertal in December, 2016. He has such an amazing temperament and responds well to training. Other than typical doberman related food allergies (we have now found the food that works for him) he has been as healthy as a horse. My wife's family has had 4+ dobermans from Kimbertal over the years all female through breeder terms and only one had health issues and unfortunately passed away at a young age 3. This will happen from time to time from any breeder no matter how much you genetically test the bloodlines. I am always shocked to see such negative reviews regarding Kimbertal. Dobermans and Rottweilers are not a breed for everyone. They are determined and domineering but in the right hands they are wonderful companions and pets. If you are not familiar with the breed stay away as you will only end up writing a negative review based on no ones fault except your own. I will advocate for Kimbertal any day. I would also note that people are much more inclined to share/write a negative review than a positive one. There are hundreds/thousands of healthy and happy Kimbertal Dobermans and Rottweilers throughout the country/world. Visit their Kennel and be the judge for yourself.

I've purchased 2 dobermans from them. The kennel is clean and the puppies are amazing. Kimbertals make sure that all the puppies are raised in a family environment. My puppy was not only super friendly but also had some of the best lines available in the world. The staff at kimbertals are all very friendly and will answer any questions or concerns you have. I had two Rottweilers from Kimbertal. Both were beautiful dogs, with exceptional temperaments and incredible intelligence. Great dogs!

I purchased a doberman a few months ago i named him gunnar. He is a great dog very smart and people everywhere compliment him. He looks great aswell. Everyone can see quality when they look at my dog. ANN at kimbertal is a pleasure to deal with. Shes been a big help to me and gunnar even after i purchased him. You wont get that type of care from a pet shop.

We purchased a doberman in 2003 from Kimbertal and she is still with us today she is a very smart dog and very playful with our kids as they were growing up and I would highly recommend. You can tell that the breeder takes great care of the dogs and we have never trained her period she is just a smart and very loving dog.
