Kimberton Inn

Still top deer drawer. I dont understand why anyone would go to the 7 stars inn when this is around the corner

My husband ordered a 6oz burger and my daughter ordered the same thing. They did not look the same. My husband's burger looked like the commercial from the 80s Where's the Beef. The burger was smaller than the bun.

Stuffy, pretentious with overpriced food that is just not that good. If you check your coats make sure to get a coat check tag or they will accuse you of stealing/losing the tag. Many better places to go out to eat in Chester County that have better food and service.

A Tale of Two Restaurants.
For my husband's birthday he was treated to back-to-back dinners out. Our son took us to a local Inn-type restaurant where we had a ho-hum meal with service that was pleasant but stretched.

The next night, husband's Mom treated us to dinner at Kimberton. What a difference! Well-staffed with quiet, friendly people. All the staff was hustling efficiently. The Owner & Manager were just as visible, checking on tables, clearing & carrying trays.

The Food! So good. I had a Short Ribs Special & it was so delicious. I tried to save some but failed, eventually finishing the whole portion & sopping up the remains with the excellent bread supplied at each table. Husband's Swordfish was expertly cooked, as were Mom's Lamb Chops. (I witnessed this very lady-like woman pick up a chop with her fingers and finish it off. Ha!)

The difference in the two restaurants stood out so much. I am sending my son to have dinner at Kimberton to see what good service & good food is.

Best restaurant in PA by far! Ambience, food and excellent service. And if you're lucky you'll be greeted by Oliver, the cat, at the entrance

Excellent salads, fresh dinner rolls and chicken entree. Sat next to the fireplace - nice ambiance but very warm!

This is a hidden gem of a restaurant. If you like truly fine dining, make plans to visit the Kimberton Inn.
This was our first time, but will not be our last. Service was outstanding and the food was high quality and delicious. Portions were very satisfying and the menu selections were numerous. Deserts were just as tasty as the entrées.
The ambiance was fantastic and reservations are suggested. The Owner takes a personal interest in your satisfaction and even helps the servers to guarantee an efficiently run dining room.
Can't wait to return. Prices are high, but worth it for the quality of the food and level of service.

Kimberton inn has become an annual holiday tradition. Sit downstairs by a fireplace for the best atmosphere. Cant go wrong with the lobster bisque or best salad ever. The Lamb chops were cooked perfectly to a medium rare and finished with a mousse that was as beautiful as it was rich.

Here for a celebratory dinner with friends. The food was delicious, the service was great, and the Christmas decorations were beautiful. Very enjoyable.

Dinner was good. The food was decent and service was good. The only disappointment was the treatment we received by the guy with the beard at the coat check who started an argument with our party about retrieving our coats. Seriously.you're going to argue over misplaced coat tags and literally tell us to step off when you refused to give us our coats and we got upset? So professional. I think Mr. Tumnus needs to go deep into hiding back in the wardrobe away from people.

Awesome atmosphere, service great, food & drinks are amazing. We have gone a few times and will keep going regularly.

Beautiful location for venues and the food at the restaurant was amazing. Treated me and my second shooter very well. Even seated us for dinner.

Great food and in a historic building with lots of character. Every dish I've ever had there was wonderful. Be sure to save room for dessert since those are yummy too. The service is always the right amount of attentiveness without being annoying.

We had our wedding reception here because we heard how great the food was. They did an unbelievable job serving 100 people! I've been to wedding where the venue is huge and enchanting but the food was so so. Here, even in large quantities, the quality is amazingly good!
