King Fried 王炸, Philadelphia PA

I ordered a takeout from the store. Milk tea is always a nice partner with fried chicken burger, and it was really delicious.

This chicken wing burger tastes really good! It’s similar to the ones in China. If international students are not used to other hamburgers and fried chicken, they can give this one a try. I have eaten it myself and there is absolutely no problem!

Their menu Iooks pretty nice with lots of snacks, burgers, and fried chicken. However the execution is very poor. The buns are dry on the outside and soggy inside with too much sauce. The chicken is thin, watery, and bland. Overall I won’t recommend this

Very very soggy on the inside for some reason. The chicken and shrimp sandwich I got were kinda blend. The sauce on the chicken sandwich isn’t the mayo that I expected on a Chinese style burger. It’s something else thats maybe fruity? Not really my type. I will be back to try the appetizers but probably not the sandwiches. Staff is really friendly and accommodating.

I just found out today that a new burger and fried chicken restaurant has opened. I ordered it with the attitude of trying it out. The ending was unexpected and excellent. I fell in love with it. I have one more restaurant that I can keep patronizing!

The food and service was great! I had the fried pork sandwich and fried chicken sandwich
Both were so good, the crust was crunchy and the meat was tender and juicy, the veggies were fresh. The price is also very reasonable and cheap for the amount of food you get. Great for a quick bite to go! Also the staff are all very kind. Definitely coming back to try more of their menu

I spent months anticipating this place’s grand opening bc there is another Chinese fried chicken place in Chinatown (not gonna say where but it’s REALLY close to this one) that tastes exactly how you imagine a Chinese fried chicken joint would taste, but it’s a shame bc my stomach doesn’t agree with their food sometimes, so I thought maybe I could just switch to this place, because after all, how can someone mess up something so basic and so universally beloved like a fried chicken sandwich and fries, and that’s where I was wrong.

The fries were sooooo salty that I could not even eat it, and friends and family all say I eat too much sodium.

And then the chicken sandwich. The second I took it out of the package I was greeted with the unappetizing beige color of the fried chicken itself. I mean you do eat with your eyes first but maybe the taste wouldn’t be bad? Well I was then immediately proven wrong. With the first bite I took, instead of delicious savory deep fried chicken goodness, my tongue was overwhelmed with some kind of weird combination of sweet and sour note. I’ve had Taiwanese plum powder on fried food but it was nothing like that and I used to even work for a place that sold that type of chicken! It’s like I was eating a deep fried meaty Chinese sour plum smooshed in between some questionable buns. Then I opened up the sandwich and saw this carnage and I felt compelled to take the picture that I posted. What the **** was the sauce? I lived in China for the first 16 years of my life and like most kids I would beg my mom to take me to K*C or my neighborhood fried chicken place. We had mayo and we love mayo on our fried chicken sandwiches. So why is this translucent concoction that looks like goo goo ga ga apple sauce mixed with condensed milk and septuagenarian baby batter in my sandwich instead of mayo? I tried to figure out exactly what was causing the godawful taste to permeate through the entire sandwich but I literally couldn’t bring myself to have another bite of this sandwich that is a humid summer roadkill in a rundown town with severely underfunded animal control department.

So yeah needless to say I’ll continue to support the other place and have my toilet pay the price (GO BIDET!)

Love them! Burger is so yummy and they were all very nice and held our food for us while we went out to run and errand. They also gave us a free sausage stick because we were dinning inside <33 definitely would come back to try other stuff on the menu.

The food is very fresh and tastes delicious. The overall feeling is very good. I will come again next time.
