Great dentist! Dr Belhadj was the first periodontist who explained what was happening with my death and had a plan beyond "remove all your teeth". I felt comfortable going through procedures with Dr Belhadj and team.

They charged my insurance for something that they didn't do then when I did needed that procedure done they told me I didn't have to pay for it since they billed my insurance a year prior for it. But then they billed me anyway for something different they didnt mention prior
They had no problem sitting on 1000 dollars for over a year from my insurance without any contact to me.

I chose this practice because I was told that my initial consultation would be covered by insurance. The staff person even called my insurance company to make sure.

To my surprise, I got a bill for the $140 consultation and was told that my insurance company wouldn’t cover it after all. When I stated that I was explicitly told that it was covered, I was given the cold response of, “It’s ultimately your responsibility to check with insurance. ”

Why would I check if the dental office checked for me? I then asked the staff member if there was any way that they could cover part of the $140 cost because I was given misinformation, but she immediately said no.

Next, I shared that I was uncomfortable remaining a client if they would not make an effort to help. The staff member said she could ask the dentist but his answer would be the same as hers.

Finally, I asked if they could cancel my 6 month follow-up cleaning, which she did with no further discussion.

I believe that this practice’s actions are very short-sighted. Not only did they lose my current business, but they also lost any future business I would refer to them.
