Kings Corner, Jenkintown PA

The food was good.but i thought it was pricey. We got Garlic Tater tots and Brussel Sprouts with a Malibu Bay Breeze and it came out to $45. I guess it is this day and age.

In all my extensive years of professional bar hoping, I have never experienced a more friendly and welcoming environment than Kings Corner. I believe it all starts with the bar manager Jude, no matter if I am there with a few others patrons or the bar is packed with people waiting on deck to grab the next open seat. Whether it’s their first drink or a person fifth, every request is taken with her giving a warm caring smile that makes you feel at home.

Delicious food, great cocktail and nice staff. We had a wonderful time at lunch today at Kings Corner. Salmon was cooked just right and a large portion for the price. The potato tots was so good and we loved the couscous!

Awesome food menu, outdoors section in the back and front. Lots of beer on tap and hard liquor. Great staff and over all my favorite all year round. Yes smoking is ok outdoors and that's a big plus for me.

Showed up here at 1245 on a Saturday and they said they were closed. According to their website, they close at 2am

Never evet im gonna go there, this pub is near my home and easily can walk to eat and drink something. I have been there and always same bartender woman acting sooo rude, whose brunette, middle age and very skinny. She don’t know how she can be nice to customers. First I was think maybe busy, and another time maybe in bad mood but last time me and my friends were there, ordered only some cocktails for 4 people. We waited 30 mins and the pub wasn’t busy. And she didnt bring my cocktail, after 1 hour later I asked another server and said cancel my cocktail don’t want it, this bartender brought my cocktail 10 mins later, I said “don’t want it anymore, already canceled it”
she didn’t say anything look at me weirdly and put the cocktail on table and left, I was working as a server 6 years, I know how it has to be, it’s not so hard to say SORRY.
Because of this rude woman never ever go there again. Every time she is rude, not only for last week we lived it. We asked water, sure she didn’t bring too. In the end when my husband asked check, she added extra cocktail on it. We said we didn’t drink it, she said ok, still no sorry. I think this rude person don’t know Sorry word in her litterateur.

If I could rate in the negatives I absolutely would. Visited for the first and last time on Friday 11/4/22. It was a beautiful fall day so just "had" to head out to enjoy the evening.
1. Smell. The door was open but the place smelled like a 'wet dog'. My friend said it as soon as we walked in.
2. Decided to have a drink to game plan on next stop. Sat at the bar.bartender (female) did not acknowledge us even though she gave the 2 people sitting next to us their drinks. Mind you, the bar is very small so it's hard to believe that she didn't see us. About 5 minutes later a gentleman came in, waved to the Bartender and she went over to him to get his drink order. She served him, stopped and picked up empty bottles and took other drink orders before we flagged her down. She wasn't very pleasant when asked were there any happy hour specials.her response was "what time is it"?
She handed us a drink menu to which I quickly told her what I wanted (b4 she walked away).
Sat some more, she served other customers and after another 5 minutes or so I said excuse me, did you hear me when I gave up my drink order. She turned around and abruptly said.no, I didn't hear you and turned her back to us, yet again. At that time decided that my hard earned money wasn't going to be spent in this wet dog smelling, lack of even neutral service establishment.

I am sure some people like it and it may be their "Cheers" but KC gets a poor score from me for both lack of cleanliness and extremely poor customer service. I'm about to check their health score

Nice spot with friendly staff tasty food and amazing drinks. Goldberg's Rush drink is an absolute winner for a Bourbon drinker. Will definitely be back after this first time visit.

Nice local bar with solid service and food. Bartender Margaret brings positive energy to this establishment. I'll be back more often.

Excellent tasting food (my dad and I had the fish and chips, chicken and waffles), friendly staff, and nice neighborhood feel to the place.

Terrific neighborhood staple. Great burgers, fish n' chips and wings. Must try the mozzarella logs!

I came in looking for a place to watch a soccer game, and while I can't say this place is a "soccer pub", they accommodated me and even let me move to a different table at halftime when another party got up. They had a good selection of draft beer and a few ciders, and the "dirty chips" were AMAZING: pulled pork and beer cheese sauce atop hand-cut fries. I'll definitely be back, just maybe not for a soccer game.

Decided to try this place as we were in the area. Ordered 3 fish and chip orders and two pieces of tres Leche.

The staff was very accommodating. Going based off pictures from the reviews they had the fish looked authentic. Unfortunately thats where it ended. The fish on all 3 entree were very tiny, definitely previously frozen prebattered stuff you get in a box, and the batter was burnt. The chips were good though. I'd give the meal a 5/10.

The tres Leche cake was surprisingly good and would order that again. 8/10

If they end up getting fresh fish and using traditional batter and frying it themselves then I'd definitely be back but as it is, it's nowhere near traditional English fish and chips.

I moved in the neighborhood a few years ago. I kept driving past this place and one night I was on a date and decided to give it a go. And by my surprise I had a very nice date. I will definitely be returning. I hear good news about the fish and chips️
