Kissel Eye Care reviews
19My experience at Kissell Eyecare was excellent! Staff was very helpful taking care of all details. My new computer/reading glasses have proven to be very helpful.
I have good experience and very satisfied service my glasses quality nice highly recommended
Kissel Eye Care was able to take care of all my needs. All of the staff is wonderful! Very helpful and got me in a great new pair of glasses! Recommend them to anyone! The provider there is also great, and was able to find out what my issue was with my vision with ease.
I had an unfortunate eye injury with alot of pain and light sensitivity. Dr Collins saw me on short notice 2 times in 3 days. Eye is completely fine now thanks to Dr. Collins. I felt confident in her excellent care. Thank you!
The staff is very kind! They made me feel seen by their variety of glasses made for people with bigger cheek bones and a rounder face. They heard my concerns about the vision out of my glasses. I highly recommend this team.
Awesome staff and Dr. Collins is the best. They make you feel like family. So glad I found Kissel Eye Care.
The customer service was FANTASTIC.however the factory where my glasses were processed held them up for quite a while. Took me three weeks to get them, which was only because I called to check on them and in turn the staff called the factory. They were in the next day and work fantastic! Thanks ladies!
Arla and Jessica were wonderful. I appreciate their assistance in selecting frames and ordering new glasses. Thank you!
Kissel Hill Eye Care is THE place to go to complete your eye exam and pick out glasses/frames. My experience was wonderful, largely due to Jess who helped me pick out my frames and patiently discussed my options and made great suggestions. She was a dream. Then Arla was so very kind and listened when it came to fitting my frames. She took the time to make sure they were perfect! She is a joy to work with as well. These 2 ladies made my experience painless and I walked away HAPPY! Best customer service around!
Dr. Collins is a great eye doctor. She always makes you feel special, and you never feel like your examination is rushed. Her staff is friendly and extremely helpful! I highly recommend Kissel Eye Care!
I came across this optometrist after googling driving anxiety and filling in the corresponding questionnaire pointed toward the possibility of Adult Binocular Vision Dysfunction. While the service staff were friendly throughout the process, I feel I was misled in my diagnosis simply so I could pay for the costly and not-covered-by insurance "exam" and glasses. If you've ever experienced anxiety, you will know you will look for any possible solution, and Adult Binocular Vision Dysfunction, which this office supposedly tests for, did make sense with what I was experiencing.
I don't think I was given a comprehensive exam, and I was never given an answer on whether I actually had BVD or not (the optometrist barely talked to me). I was fitted with a pair of glasses, which did improve my vision slightly. But I also have keratoconus, wear hard contact lenses and have an optometrist that I trust that deals with this. All of this was explained to the optometrist during the appointment. She still recommended I buy glasses from her.
It just so happened I had an annual check up with my other optometrist a week later, and when I presented him with the prescription Kissel provided, they were simply fixing some astigmatism I was experiencing. He found no sign of any BVD. And this astigmatism could have been corrected by a new set of contact lenses, which would have been free because they are medically necessary, instead of the not-covered-by insurance glasses from Kissel. I regret not just checking with my regular optometrist first, but as I said, anxiety got the better of me.
All up, I'm out about $1000 from this costly appointment and unnecessary glasses. I was promised a call for a follow up exam six weeks after my glasses arrived, and never received one. I guess they have my money and that's all that seems to matter to them.
Had an exam done and was prescribed glasses to help with Vertigo issues. I was told that I would get a follow up appointment in 6 weeks after recieving my glasses. After 6 months I decided to call them and ask when I should follow-up to make sure everything is good, so they made me an appointment. I go to appointment and was basically ask if my symptoms were better or worse. I said about the same maybe the headaches are a little better. Then a few more questions and was sent out to the desk where they wanted to charge me another 275.00 for an exam, when I did NOT HAVE ANY EXAM DONE. Just a few questions. I said what exam am I paying for Dr Collins only ask how my symptoms where to make sure the glasses where ok. I got well we set time aside for you so you have to pay. I said you could have just ask me that over the phone and that would have also saved me a 3hr round trip drive. I was told there wasn't going to be a charge just a follow up to make sure everything was done correctly on there part. (Apparently this is a lie). Obviously iam not paying the 275.00 and will never go back. If they would have kept there word I would have been a long time customer and wouldn't have had a problem paying for a yearly exam, but the fact that I was lied to and them charged for something that never happened, then made multiple excuses why I should be charged when they dropped the ball from the very start. Not good customer service from staff.
Dr. Collins listened to every question I had, and responded with quality technical information and care regarding questions about my eyesight
The care shown by the entire team at Kissel was amazing! And I must admit I have had fun on my visits there!
Dr. Collins is professional in every way and an expert in her field. I have always been treated with great care and kindness with my eye exams in the past 6 years that I have been going to her and happily recommend Kissel Eye Care to friends and family. Excellent and friendly staff too!
Dr Collins is thorough and explains things so you understand. Her staff is professional and Jess is great to deal with. I’d recommend.
Great results! AND everyone there makes the experience easy and even fun! I recommend them highly and will go back repeatedly as needed.
Here's what my husband has to say about his recent visit to Kissel Eye Care: Sometimes I can be pretty rough on my glasses in my line of work. I went to Kissel Eye Care to see if they would re-adjust my glasses, and I was met with quick, friendly service from each person I dealt with, and my glasses were straightened, cleaned, and serviced!
I struggle with visual aura and Dr. Collins has been instrumental in prescribing lenses that have significantly reduced my migraines and eye strain. Staff is very helpful and will even help you pick out cute frames! I highly recommend Kissel Eye Care.
