Kubrick Brothers Lawn Mower Shop, Penn Hills PA

My son and I bought a used riding lawn mower for $800.00. Kind of expensive for what it was but we figured since it was from a "master Mechanic" thats what his card has on it. It would be checked out and have the proper maintenance. He also said he would deliver it the next day and give a 30 day warranty. They delivered it 10 days latter. My son started cutting his grass it ran for about 10 minutes and seized up. It would not go into gear and we could not move it. Called up Bob the owner 4 times. He never called back. We went to his shop on a Friday and it closed early. Clearly he was avoiding us. I told my son maybe we will just try to fix it ourselves. We got it fixed. The drive belt was shredded and the pulley was shot and their was a pin missing that holds the deck in place causing the deck to drag on one side. Not what I expected from a lawn mower shop.

Crooks. Tried telling me my chainsaw cylinder was scorn and saw was junk. Took it to my regular small engine repair shop for 2nd opinion. And there is nothing wrong with saw. I use it with no problems

Very unprofessional. Am sure owner has good competence, but poor ethics. Hit or miss. Roll the dice!

Figured I’d support the business and not have to work on my tractor myself. What a MISTAKE! They offered to pick up my tractor for a fee, I agreed. Called after a week of not hearing from him, says they can’t get to it but if I took it up myself they would be able to get to it quickly. Dropped it off, called after 3 weeks and was told he hasn’t even looked at it. Now he wants to charge me labor hours to take it apart and see what’s wrong with it but he isn’t sure if he can fix it. Says if he can’t fix it I’ll have to pay him to put it back together and I’ll have to come pick up the broke. Tractor. Now I’m renting another trailer to pick up my still broken tractor that I could have fixed myself 3 weeks ago before the grass was a foot tall. Go to Penn Hills Rental or literally anywhere else.

Fair pricing. Took awhile to get back to me regarding a quote but it was the start of the mowing season. Overall great local shop

The best repair shop in the area can fix anything you use to clean up and trim your yard with even compressors. A must stop lowest prices in Pittsburgh.

I’ve never had a problem with Kubrick and I’ve dealt with him several times. From lawn mowers to weed eaters to chainsaws, they’ve always been returned too me repaired and in a timely fashion at a reasonable price. I. About to take my John Deere garden tractor for new belts, blades, oil filter change, and tune up. I know when it’s returned too me it’s serviced and I have no worries about it done right.
