Kumo Asian Bistro reviews
11My son is so picky. I have been looking around for good sushi. I am glad I find it today. My son normally can only eat one roll at the the other restaurant but he eats four rolls today. He is too skinny I am glad he eats more today. We definitely will back for more sushi.
Every time my family and I come to Kumo we are never disappointed. They are amazing the food is always delicious and the waitess is awesome! I highly recommend.great food great service great environment 5 stars from me!
I’ll start off with the positive.
The waitress was very kind.
We didn’t have to wait too long for the food.
Unfortunately, that’s about all I can say that was positive.
The price for what was served was expensive - but that can be understood with inflation. But there still should be value for money and at least should taste as good as what a normal customers could easily make at home or buy frozen.
Ramen - broth bland, pork tough. Edible but bland - finished eating only because I was hungry and didn’t want to waste money.
Bento - proteins were tough and dry. Wasn’t great value for money.
Overall, would have been much happier using the money spent to eat at chick-fil-a for a few times instead.
Maybe we should have ordered the sushi instead that everyone in the reviews are raving about.
Again - don’t mind parting with so much money if the meal and service are great.
Really wanted to like this place and possibly have it be one of our regular places we go.
Unfortunately, will not be going back or recommending the place to any friends.
Went for some fried sushi and definitely was super happy with it. So warm and crispy and just hit the spot perfectly. Was a pregnancy craving and I was beyond happy with there delicious food. Recommend if pregnant and craving sushi
Very disappointed. I got this rainbow boba that I was worried it would be too sweet, the lady that helped me ensured it wouldn't be too sweet. It's very sweet, my boba is hard in the middle so that's gross. My spicy tuna roll has a bunch of crunchy filler in it and I could barely taste the tuna. Not to mention the old rice. My other roll is beautiful and yummy, I haven't eaten my edamame yet so I'll see how that goes. I was overly hungry and thought this would be delicious and I'm just disappointed. I spent $34.40 for boba, 2 sushi rolls and edamame and enjoyed half of it.
We have kinda become “ regulars” here for a late lunch on the weekend. HUGE menu of rolls & special rolls. Service is always great, the sushi chefs are very accommodating. They also have your typical Chinese dishes, but sushi is always our way to go. Everything is delicious & flavorful.
Have been here multiple times over the years the best sushi I have ever had it’s worth the half hour drive to get there
Was forced to move on to a different sushi crew because my go-to, Wasabi, dropped off of door dash. Was in my second order with Kumo. Was willing to deal with the small sashimi and squished sushi orders until the second go. On this round, all I did was Re-order the prior submission. This time, my order was wrong. I called and advised that it was wrong. I was told by the manager that the chef had been working there five years and this has always who it had been prepared. I responded advising how could it be the same chef if my order was different last time. Small portions, high prices, moving on.
The best ramen and sushi in the world. Very friendly stuff, quick serve. Highly recommend this place!
This place was fantastic. We walked in on a Friday evening and we’re promptly seated. The staff was helpful and very engaging. Although the place was full we weren’t rushed to order or forgotten about. The food tasted fresh and presentation also was very good.
I was introduced to this place by my charismatic, peripatetic, and ubiquitous sons. How is that for a mouthful? The food is freely prepared nearby in the establishment, and the service is quick and efficient. You'll love patronizing this establishment because there are no negatives. Come, dine, enjoy, and you'll be glad you did. BRING A FRIEND, SPOUSE OR BUDDY TO BE IMPRESSED, BECAUSE THEY WILL! How do you say bon appetite in Chinese?
