5I tried calling to place a food order but they never answer the phone.
At 5 25pm on August 4 2021 my husband stopped in and ordered a half a ham sub. The young lady that was working did not like having to make the sub so my husband said that if you can't make it just refund my money. Her words were I don't have a recipe to make it the boy that was there working told her that there was a sheet in front t of her to tell her how much meat to put on the sub when she was done she shoved the sub at my husband and said there very rudely. I have worked in gas and food store for over er 20 years and that is. Ot how you talk nor treat customers.
Was told to call back with my order because they had 5 orders in front of me, I agreed to wait than when I called back the said I couldn’t place an order bc the were closing. It’s ridiculous, they were rude. The hours they are opens are always changing. NOT WORTH ANY OF YOUR MONEY!
If your gonna order food id just go to the elkalnd acorn. Multiple times now i have ordered the same sub and they never make it right. Pulled bbq pork it comes with fries and coleslaw. Aparebtly they havent been selling coleslaw for a while but failed to say so and the excuse was that the menu is changing. Obvisouly information is not being properly relayed to the employees. Also might as well have called it a pork sandwich because the bbq was almost non existent. I habent been to elkand acorn in a while but if the same older man is there making food I woukd go there because he always makes good food!
Paul Gibson & I pulled over so we could get a drink & to stretch our legs. On our way home for a quick trip to see my brother Jesse VanValkenburg. He was in the Arnot hospital. You see he's been battalling Cancer. He became very very I'll. My fiance route me home to see my brother. Seamed like we'd been driving forever.
But in reality I saw that they sold PUDGIES PIZZA I'm excited now! I'm originally from Endwell- Binghamton New York (area). But when ever I come home to visit I always stop at the Canton acorn! But I order my pizza ahead of time.this way when I make it to Canton my pizza will be ready and I can pick it up cuz I'm driving to Franklin Township to see all of my brothers. You see as much as I love pizza. Better yet a taste of home oh yeah! I have the number programmed in my phone. Oh I forgot to say I live in Virginia now. I've lived here now about 38 years give or take. Besides family the only two things to have when you go home is Pudgies Pizza and a speedy sub from Lupo's in Endwell New York. Yumm. My girlfriend Doreen Kennedy came in to see my brother also she lives in Endwell now. She brought us subs from Lupo's we had a wonderful visit. We where able to surprise him. The look on his face was more than worth the terrible drive through DC. My brother was able to go home from the hospital. Now we just wait for test results to see if the treatments helped Jesse my brother & best friend! God bless everyone
