La Belle Auberge Bed & Breakfast, Wellsboro PA

Beautiful B&B, the staff was amazing, the spa was incredible and it is located in an adorable little town walking distance from many options for food and entertainment.

Communication prior to our arrival was excellent. The Bed and Breakfast is collocated with Emerge Spa. We arrived at LaBelle after the spa was closed and access was simple. There was plenty of off-street parking. The home was built in 1907 so the rooms reflect the era, but are still very comfortable. The bed and linens were amazing; I literally could have just stayed in bed all morning. Breakfast was delivered to the door at 8 am - I think this was a COVID adjustment that has continued. The massages at Emerge by Mary and Jesse were perfect after a couple days of riding and hiking. They both listened to us and adjusted their techniques to meet our requests. The main purpose of our trip was to see "The Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania" and hike to some waterfalls. Side note: If you are visiting/hiking the parks - stop at the Potter-Tioga Visitor Center on PA 660 for maps and information. We found the route we planned on our phone did not meet our needs and we went through many spots with no service. Back in Wellsboro - La Belle is a short walk to restaurants, shopping and the movie theater (old school - no reclining, assigned seats). We had great meal experiences at The Roost and Harland's. Both have super friendly staffs and good food. The Roost has a surprisingly interesting cocktail menu. We only spent two nights at La Belle, but I will definitely stay there again when I return to the area.

Very nice and cozy place to stay. Awesome breakfasts, and spa on site. Highly recommend staying here!
