La Casa Del Mofongo reviews
13 Sooo.nice decor. Staff is not well versed in taking Bilingual orders. Beans a bit on the salty side. The pork was refried and hard. Chicken was a bunch of bones and fried hard. Mofongo was good. I spoke to them 5 times on the phone and they never said they ONLY TAKE CASH. ATM was conveniently located inside.
Nothing to brag about. Unfortunately, I will not be going back.
Food was good.service a bit slow consodering its Saturday and its takeout or delivery only but well worth it.i drovevin from Jersey and ordered in restaurant to go
Don’t order from this place the lady on the phone and everyone in the background arguing when she’s taking the order and she didn’t sent half of my food I called to let them know and she’s arguing with me because she said she sent everything from my order when clearly she didn’t never again
Good food, good service. But need more space for the customers. Those wooden tables has to go, they are very uncomfortable.
The food there is soo qood and inexpensive only down side is the space is kinda small only have a few tables
Est mofongo in Philadelphia, great service but its very Dominican so if your not use to the culture you may find it weird.love this place
It was ok it was so dry.please ask for the stake.one.it has a gravey.so you don't choke.they over fry.the chicken.so be aware.
Awesome food! Bring cash, they have an ATM on site if you don't; no credit.
Other than that they had very good food
Very limited seating. After 20 minutes of waiting and no acknowledgement of our presence I tried to flag down the cook and she ignored me. I asked a friend of mine that was present and he said the mofongo was dry. Avoid this place if possible.
The flavors were pretty good.but the meats they used in my "Sancocho" were not fresh enough for my taste.
I seen the lady drop the salad on the floor pick it up and put it inside the bin into the refrigerator nasty
The food is good except i guess for today that the fried chicken i ordered wasn't fully cooked. I gave it 3 stars due to the unprofessionalism there. When you call and even when you go in its so unprofessional. Staff is everywhere extra loud sometimes with a mad face not even greeting their guests most of the time.
The food wasn't good at all. THESE PEOPLE ARE DOMINICANS. THIS IS NOT AUTHENTIC PUERTO RICAN FOOD. THOSE WHO ARE STATING THAT IT IS OBVIOUSLY ARE NOT ISLANDERS. The beans were sweet, and so was the arroz con gandules. If you want Puerto Rican food. I recommend Freddy's Restaurant, and the prices are responsible. I will never order from this place again!
