La Casa Di Lucia reviews
15 We go here often.
Dine in, and take out.
Sautéed Calamari in marinara sauce is always tasty.
Many items on the menu so whomever goes will be sure to find something they like.
This is a friendly neighborhood, cozy, spot to meet with family or friends.
Prices are very reasonable.
As they say “Try it you’ll like it”
Good service but the food was not! I ordered scallops marinara. It was virtually tasteless. It seemed like an old leftover. Very disappointing indeed.
Friendly and quick service, very tasty food and made to feel very comfortable. Prices are very fair, real good stop.
We had a large party and had the side room to ourselves. Food was excellent, service was good for the amount of people we had. Had chicken parmigiana, not a huge serving but enough to fill you. Great experience, will be back.
Absolutely fabulous cuisine and you're gaurenteed to become a steady customer on your first visit! My family has been dining here for over 35 years and always feels at home with the best Italian comfort food you can get!
I use chime bank so it tells you when you’ve been declined as it allows you full control over your account. The young lady takes my card to the bar section of the restaurant and disappeared for over three minutes. I locked my card back because I didn’t want any other subscriptions coming out. She came back and let me know I told her my apologies try one more time. I left my card unlocked. She came right back stating it declined again. Which isn’t true because there was no notification. I walked right across the street to Dominic’s Pizza and got my order with no issue.
Definately not the place for a family meal, a datenight, or a quiet dinner. Thu, Fri Sat nights they have a 55+ loud dj who thinks he can sing. He plays the music (Patsy Kline!) so loud you have to shout across the table to be heard.and even then, the other party has to lean almost to your mouth. He's LOUD, - he scream along with the already loud music he's playing.he's OBNOXIOUS, and he wayyyyy off key. It was so bad, we requested our waitress to move us to the adjoining room - which really did nothing, since the doors were open. I asked the waitress if mgmt was aware of his "presentation". She said, Oh yes - the owner's in the kitchen". Told her he should come out and see the diners leaving. - Only 3 tables occupied on a Friday night. The food is good (although my calimra had chunks of breaded peppers - more than 1/2 the plate). Why would you screw up your best income nights with this acoustic mess? Why bother dimming the lights with this acoustic mess going on? - definately not a nice dinning experience.
When we left (7: 45), the DJ, wearing a beret was flapping his arms running around the dining room making like an airplane.
Fortunately, there's a plethora of other Italian Restaurants in the neighborhood - heck, even Olice Garden would be better than here!
Nah - definately won't be back, it's a shame - like i said, the food was good
Everything about this place is amazing! The staff is great! The food is delicious and it just melts in your mouth! They are the best around! 10 stars!
Food was "okay". Waitress was EXTREMELY rude. Started lowering lights as we were eating, trying to rush us out at 8: 15pm. Asked us to pay for our food in the middle of eating, bc she wanted to " leave". Didn't ask us if we wanted desert. Took food from in front of us as we were still eating. Very bad dining experience.
Let me start off it was a nice place but their beverages for example I had a 8 oz Ice-T (a short glass) full ice it cost me $3 for one, no refills for that price I should have received a 12-oz glass at least
I'm supposed to be doing keto but when I'm in the mood to cheat their pizza is amazing. And their Caesar dressing sauce was out of this world. You can definitely tell it was home made. Thank you.
Worst meal ever My broiled scallops were overcooked to the point of being hard and rubbery, and I have no idea what sauce they were in. Yuck!
Very good food chicken francaise andparm very good everything I've had here has been delicious.
Worse meal ever! My broiled scallops were hard & rubbery, totally overcooked & I have no idea what the sauce was they were in! Yuck!
It was a crazy night there were a total of 11 tables going at once and John was the only server as he seems to always be when we come. He handled it all very professionally, being in the food industry I DO know the pain he had to endure. I felt bad seeing him have to go it 100% COMPLETLY ALONE. I hope he gets recognized for all his hard work that he does (and some extra floor support even a busser can help the guy). Regardless hats off to you John. Keep up the awesome work don't worry about a thing!
