La Cena Restaurant, Bensalem PA

Nice place. Was there for a wedding rehearsal dinner so I didn't see the menu so I can't comment on the prices or extent of menu. They did have a vegetarian option. They did have live music.

Eating here feels like a date night.for an older crowd. It's an all-around nice place to enjoy a night out for dinner. The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere are equally compared.

They had a two piece band which was very good. The food was excellent. I would Say it could compare to top Italian restaurants in New York.

I proposed to my wife at LaCena 20 years ago. It was our favorite spot. There were a few rough years to follow, but hearing that everything was back on track, I decided to stop by again. My wife and I just left after a fantastic meal! Food was cooked to perfection! The service was top notch. By far, the best place to eat in the area. Highly recommended.

For some reason in a very empty restaurant the service was extremely slow. We love the food but the service left a lot to be desired

Very good lunch options Buffalo chicken salad and chicken ceasar salad good choices. Bread very fresh and tasty.

I just took my girlfriend here for her birthday. The two tables next to us came in 30 minutes after us and got their food right away. We sat there for an hour and half and didn't get our food. The waitress who served us wasn't supposed to be in that section. After she took our drink order another girl came up to us who's section it actually was. That waitress got everyone around us their food right away. Worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. That was absolutely ridiculous.

Had stuffed mushrooms for appetizer. Ravioli stuffed with lobster and Salmon with scallop and shrimp and salad. Had pumpkin cheese cake for dessert. Food was excellent, live dinner music was really nice. Service was very good.
Bring your big boy wallet, but worth it.

Great atmosphere. The host was really friendly. Felt very welcome.
And Herb as the live entertainment made the dinner even better. Great to hear music that no one else ever does.

We had our rehearsal dinner there 9/21/23
From the first time I was in contact with LaCena to last night at our dinner, June who I originally was emailing with months ago with just basic questions was very helpful then when I went to actually set it up I spoke with Cathy who was just a pleasure to deal with and very helpful she put my mind to ease that we would have a perfect night and we sure did. To the waitstaff Kristen especially who from the moment my fiancée and I sat down to the moment we were leaving she was checking on us and making sure we were good. Very fast service and very reasonable pricing. I highly recommend LaCena and we will be going back soon.

I've been here on several occasions and I must say it's never disappointed. The service is amazing. The food itself is an experience. I have tried several of their appetizers and I typically go for their filet mignon as the main course and it is made to perfection. The wine menu is reasonable and the experience is one if a kind. They typically have live music and it matches the ambiance. A perfect date night spot. Grown respectable vibe with friendly staff.

Food was OK. The chicken parm wasn't the best. It was paired with mashed potatoes & veggie mix (peas/carrots). No ever came over with water. We had to ask for bread. The bartender was MIA.

Very cute establishment! Service was impeccable! Food was very good. Prices are a little steep, but the atmosphere was enjoyable, especially with the live music!

Did take out. The meal and salad portion was very good, the dessert was good but pricey for size.

Went to La Cena on 8/10/23. This restaurant was wonderful. The hostess (Kathy) I believe was very gracious and welcoming. We picked this restaurant after a long drive from NC to PA for a family event. Kristina was our waitress. She was wonderful and attentive. Food and drinks were exceptional. Ty, for a wonderful first experience.

Took my 7 year old granddaughter there for lunch. The food was delicious. She is such a picky eater but loved the pasta and meatballs. My chicken parm panini was wonderful. It was our first time there, and we will definitely be returning! Our waitress was so friendly!
