LA Fitness, Bala Cynwyd PA

Was enjoying my time here until this happened, management act like is was no big deal, why I think im switching to Edge Fitness.

Love la fitness over all, like many places could be cleaner. Love the classes and personal training staff. No court but I make good use of my time.

The gym is a bit outdated and could be more clean. A lot of machines are always out of order and take weeks on weeks to repair. Locker room and beyond (restroom, sauna, shower pool) areas are disgusting. I understand there are messy members with no respect for the whole gym squad but it should be cleaned and maintained better. It is smaller then most LA fitnesses I’ve been too which causes a lot of the big muscle guys to hog weights and machines in crowded areas giving other people very little to limited time to get to use. Cardio area is great always room for a good run or bike ride or stair climb etc.overall the gym isn’t the worst but far from the best I don’t agree with the membership price for this specific facility at this current time it should be no more then $20 a month because this place makes planet fitness look like a 5 star gym. Once they remodel and maybe keep the place clean and maintained then I would agree my $35 a month membership is fair. Respectfully. I give this place a 7/10

Their hot tub has been down poor management should have ordered the part a long time ago all LA Fitness is hot tubs are down With the same excuse the company they use is horrible and yet they continue to use them

Excellent staff and service, Marcus was a great help with my membership. Clubs equipment is always clean and efficiently maintained/serviced.

Christopher is great trainer if you have tension in your neck he will release it and help with sciatica. Great staff and motivational

This is the best gym I have been to. The facilities are maintained well and cleaned regularly. Customer service is superb especially from the personal training team. Sean has gone out of his way since day one to help me achieve my weight loss goals. Whether it is helping me with meal plans or answering questions, he always finds the time to help me out. My personal trainer Katie is awesome. She is the perfect balance I need between supportive and motivating. I am getting closer to my weight loss goals each week and I know without this gym and team of personal trainers, it would not be possible.

Staff is so wonderful. Very helpful and generous. Super great environment and very clean. My go-to gym every time!

Great gym, nice pool and weights.
Getting dirty lately. Roaches in the changing room and the showers look like a hurricane came through in the morning.

Worst gym. Dumbbells scattered throughout the gym. Should be monitored by employee and hold members accountable by reminding them to put weights up.

Great facility and great people. Been working out here for exactly 1 month now. Sean helped set me up with a fitness assessment and hooked me up with Alfred as a Personal Trainer on my first visit.

Alfred's been nothing short of phenomenal - he's worked with me twice a week minimum and checks in with me constantly. The other trainers are always friendly and check in and see if you need anything. My progress since starting has felt incredible. Highly recommend.

I just began coming to la fitness about a month ago. I love the atmosphere and the people who attend this gym. Not to mention the kids CLUB. Who would of known that I can get a good work out, all while my kids are being taken cared of. Even more, they have an amazing juice bar that makes the most delicious protein shakes! They taste as if im having ice cream.

Beautiful facility and a very friendly and accommodating staff! The manager Kyle especially is always smiling and very helpful when i have any questions regarding equipment!

The Operations Manager is the best we've had in 6-years. Handling issues has gotten extraordinarily better. The gym is moving in the right direction. Great destination gym that you can squeeze a workout in before or after work.

Loved the gym unfortunately had to cancel due to moving to a location without an la fitness. Staff was very helpful always going above and beyond throughout my entire time there, even when it came to canceling my membership. Will definitely join LA again when I’m in an area with more clubs.

It is one of the cleanest facilities I been to. With the multi club multi state membership I have seen my fair share of LA fitness clubs but this one is far by the cleanest and best I been to. It has machines I’ve never seen before which is great because it widens your options when working out. Also the quantity of each machine, I’m never waiting for a machine or weight. The staff continue to go above and beyond for those who workout here and makes each session enjoyable.

Why do I keep doing this to myself. Place is a filthy dump. Instructor shows up 30 plus minutes late and they are too lazy to come in to tell the class. Wondering if I can transfer membership to another LA Fitness.

Gym is fine. Great customer service, in a good area, and everyone is friendly. The gym is also clean and gives off a good vibe.

I come at random times due to work schedule and never seems to be overly crowded. If equipment does breakdown it seems to be remedied in a reasonable amount of time. Everyone who works here is always courteous and helpful.
