I la fitness especially for health wise i it's a great place to meet people and hit your goal.

Can’t count how many times I hurt my ankle playing on unswept or wet floors because of their busted ceiling and at the very least they can’t update there damn opening hours or holiday hours!

Equipment is good and everything but the vending machine needs to be figured out. I already pay for a membership and everything is overpriced in that machine. Not to mention this gym offers zero types of protein in the vending machine aside from a milk which is $4.50. Like what is that? If I get tired midway through my workout I’ve been having to leave, walk down the road to buy something, and then come back. So inconvenient.

Terrible management. Equipment in disrepair and never updated. Revolving door of staff. Gym is constantly dirty, especially locker rooms. Premium fees and a lackluster, unhygienic atmosphere. Just DON’T.

This used to be my favorite pool location, but it has gone downhill this year (2023). The showers always seem to have broken fixtures and the lockers and sinks are often dirty. I tend to swim at the LA Fitness in West Chester and KOP instead.

I came here to work out, and while I appreciate music, this is much too loud. The music is so loud on the overhead that I need to remember to bring ear plugs. My usual earbuds don't block out the overhead music. Most members wear headphones.
In summation: Clean equipment. Lap pool. Music much too loud.

Terrible customer service. Will not let me cancel membership without sending in form through mail. I am out of state and unable to send in form. Manager is avoiding/refusing to talk to me and help me out.

Great gym, and a member since 2021!

-Great variety of equipment and weights.

-Clean during the day/big mess evening time.

-Reception staff is awesome.

-Members are friendly and polite.

-They are out of paper towels and soap most of the time.

Remark:

Personal trainers manager was very pushy on selling us an annual contract for $660/mo/ per person, which a fitness app can give the same level of training for 8/mo. After we refused, he gave us attitude and even was rude.
His evaluation was questionable! He pushed us to our limits (which is normal) and then told us that " We need to work on this and that. " Then, "When you sign the contract and train 3 times a week, you will see immediate results. "
After 2.5 minutes plank, 1 set of 50 situps, weighted russian twists, and other exercises, he told me, " You have a weak core. We need to work on your core since it's weak. "
[No matter what you do, he will say you are weak and you need to sign up with him]

On many occasions, some of the personal trainers smelled like weed, or they are playing games on their phones while training people.

Summary: great gym, reception staff are amazing, and avoid the personal trainers, or pick one wisely.

When the equipment breaks down, it takes weeks for it to be repaired. I've been going here consistently for 2 years and the staff don't know my name and it shows just how much they actually know their members. Furthermore, the regional director Kelly is extremely demeaning and has no concept of customer service especially when the members bring up an actual concern especially being a disabled veteran. Furthermore, Danielle who is supposed to be the head of member services is a liar who will not admit that she lied to corporate about the situation at the club. Sge was caught in her own lie and did not apologize to me. Even when corporate found out the truth. She is the epitome of anti-veteran.

Save your money. Go to another gym that takes pride in their facility and the staff are trained.

Called for a day pass and the staff were spectacular, especially Marissa. Honestly one of the best gyms in the area.

The lockers are never EVER cleaned, I always have to clean one every time I come here. A few machines have been “scheduled for maintenance” for months.

The facility is very clean. The only downside it that there is no Sauna at all. Please get a sauna like Springfield has.

5 stars for the staff that work here - they are friendly and some of them clearly work long hours, visibly committed to their jobs (a rare thing to see these days). Only points of criticism I have is a few people that go to this gym take off their shirt when working out, and don't respect the equipment; additionally, 4 out of the 7 stair-master machines have been busted for a very long time.

The person at the front desk told me to cash app them 20$ and they would let me and my 3 friends play basketball without signing up. Isn’t that technically stealing from LA Fitness? I’m sure they arent sending that money to the company.

This place is very corrupt. They let anyone walk in, doesn’t matter if you have a guest pass, if you’re a member, hell they even let kids in under the age of 15. This place is gonna get a lawsuit one day from all the shady things they’re doing. Someone needs to step in and stop the corruption that’s going on at this gym. People are on the basketball court bragging about how they “just walked in” and didn’t have to pay. Yet me and my friends had to pay someone’s personal cash app just to get in. Ridiculous.

Gym is nice staff was friendly but they messed up my account twice. Overcharged the first time and then was told I could add someone for 9 bucks then it turned to like 200 and they made it seem like it's my fault. I loved working out here and the got basketball courts and swimming pool.

The white people at the front desk never speak.no “hi, hello, have a good workout” nothing. I only like that it’s never too crowded here.

Staff here is fantastic! Amos was super helpful in getting me a 3-day trial and I happily became a member after day 2. Facilities and equipment are always clean and organized, the pool is very nice as well as is the locker room. Can’t beat this price.
