La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Harrisburg-Hershey

Place was great. Young man at front desk was helpful and had a good personality as well. Even remembered what I was in town for and asked how it was the next day. Would definitely stay again

Found bed bugs. The staff handled it well. We were able to switch rooms in the middle of the night but the second room had a lot of ants.

A fine hotel, very very comfortable bed, comma but I did have some trouble Getting into and out of the shower, and I also found it unfortunate that there was no shampoo in the bathroom since the bottle I had packed for myself was accidentally left at home.

It was an OK stay. Just OK. When I tried checking in, no one was there. Rang the bell and called for 10 minutes, no one was there. Finally someone walked up. I told them I was waiting for a while and they called me a liar. They claimed to have just stepped away for a minute. They then assigned me the top floor room, furthest from the elevator. When we got to the room, the toilet wouldn’t stop running and making noise. Got a new room, which was DIRTY. Hair and dirt all over the bathroom. Mold in the showers. Nothing is actually cleaned. Tried not to think about it. More annoyed at the rudeness of the employee at check in than anything else.

Cecil, La Quinta's front desk clerk, made sure the king suite with the jacuzzi was available for my husband and I to celebrate our 24th wedding anniversary, as we had talked on the phone. When I arrived, he handed me a gift bag with water, Hershey's chocolate and crackers. He was very friendly and polite. The room was clean, the linens and towels were crisp clean and white and everything worked well in the room. It was very comfortable. The two person jacuzzi felt amazing. The breakfast was yummy with two different kinds of omelets, sausage and gravy with biscuits. The location was great. It was an easy drive to Hershey Park, Hershey Lodge, and the Giant Center. Various restaurants were nearby including mom and pop diners. Thank you Cecil and La Quinta for making our anniversary special. We would love to come again.

The hotel was pretty gross. The first room we got had mold in the tub and around the water valve behind the toilet. The rooms smelled like pets and it was very muggy, like there is some sort of ventilation problem. The second room we got was less muggy but the bathroom was still very much nasty. I had to go to the nearby target to grab cleaning products just to feel better about staying there. The pool was disgusting. The breakfast was the only good part about the hotel. Definitely will not be back. The male that checked us in didn’t have good customer service and seemed very annoyed. In the morning the staff seemed much nicer and friendly tho. Location was not too far from target and a pizza shop that had pretty good food. And only 20 mins from Hershey chocolate factory which is where we were going the morning after.

The Lobby was immaculate, the holiday decor was the perfect photo opp for a family passing by on vacation. The room was very clean and the staff was respectful and efficient, also very friendly. Recommend 10/10

Booked for the indoor pool and hot tub, showed up and they say closed for maintenance, but there was no one doing anything during our stay. I feel cheated and complete bait and switch. Rooms did not smell good either, and carpets are very worn.

No phone in our room. Two rooms should have been connected but ended up across the hall. Couldn't even call each other on a house phone. We had six children. Pool was very nice. Staff was very nice but unable to get us a phone or connecting rooms.

Experienced numerous problems during our stay. Hotel is dirty. Room was dirty. Halls were dirty. Key card to enter our room didn’t work. Was told when making hotel reservations that pool was indoors and was open. Found out at check in that it was closed. Poor communication between hotel departments. Tried to bring these issues to a hotel manager but was told none were available. As a Wyndham Rewards Platnium member we’re very disappointed.

The hotel overall is nice. The rooms could use some updating. The furniture is outdated. Good location and staff is friendly.

TJ. Is the BEST part of this hotel. As soon as you walk in, you are automatically greeted with warm customer service. Something that doesn’t exist much in this world. So helpful, and always thoughtful of the guests satisfaction. Went to hershey with the three kids (whom love the complimentary cookies provided in the lobby) and came back to our room with a hand made batch. Courtesy of TJ. Close distance to hershey park, next door to a diner, gas station nearby, convenient location. Hotel, pool and hot tub all working and room was clean. Breakfast provided was always plentiful and fresh. Thanks for everything. Great stay.

LaQuinta is our first and only choice of hotels. Always detailed clean, staff always professional and courteous! LaQuinta, stand up and take a bow!

I really enjoyed my stay, the room was clean and welcoming, the staff was friendly especially Tj oh my god he was the best

Lobby and breakfast were nicest part of hotel. Bottom bathroom door falling apart and leaving debris, chair had marker all over, lower bathroom walls were moldy and shower surround was pulling off in the middle. The next morning my in-laws woke up and found a transparent tube that had drugs in it under the vanity. They are not like me and reported to the front desk. I asked to speak with GM now! No cops were called they offered her 50% off one night as we stayed for 3. This infuriated me and I went and spoke with the GM. I have pictures and will be reporting all of this to corporate office. We'll see where I get with this.

Disgusting! The room was filthy, stains on the curtains, rugs and bed! Bed was filled with crumbs And hair. The room stunk like mildew and the bathrooms were disgusting! I booked a two night stay I ended up leaving the very next morning and booked a room at the Hilton. Do your research the entire hotel was very disgusting and dirty. I would not recommend.
