Lake Wally Cafe, Hawley PA

Visited this nice little cafe while me and my wife were visiting the poconos. The food was really good. It had that hometown feel which is always nice. The waitress was very friendly and we would definately stop again if we are ever in the area again.

Mike is always GREAT & Consistent. He makes a tremendous omelet and everything else. I never had bad service ever.

My husband and I came in here for breakfast while we were in town for a wedding. I had an omelet and he had a bit of everything. All of the food was delicious.

Incredible Cheesesteaks, wow!

We’ve now dined twice at Lake Wally Cafe, both experiences have been excellent.

Came her with our 2 young children on the way home from Woodloch. The food was delicious and fresh and service was super friendly!

I love this place so much. The menu has so many interesting options and food combinations and everything we ordered was fresh. Good portions, tasty food, excellent service - our server was so personable and witty. The cakes and pastries were also amazing - the best raspberry crumb ever. Also, first time I've seen French onion grilled cheese and it was every bit as good as it sounds - and also comes with fries and a cup of French onion. One of my new favorite spots in the area.

Ended up here because another diner wasn't open on time. What a great little spot! Best prices I've seen in a while, great selection and wonderful service. It's small but definitely worth it. Went at 8am on a Saturday and got the last table. We'll definitely be back

Staff not interested in waiting on customers, never got a second cup coffee. I'll go elsewhere

Food was really good. Folks working there were very nice, even when they didn't have enough help it looked like, plus the restaurant was busy. Even so, everything went smoothly and I had a great experience.

Usually this place is decent due to food being so good. Last few times I have been there service has been terrible. Went in and sat at counter because the sign wait to be seated was not visible. So basically got completely ignored. While trying to be patient and understanding due to place being busy, it was clear staff purposely was ignoring us because we sat ourselves. Sat there for over 20 minutes and during time went into the ladies room were I was met with kitchen staff unclogging the toilet. I excused myself and she ran out without washing her hands and explained. By the time we were acknowledged the server said oh you sat yourself and still no menu's or anything. At this point people that came in after us were finishing up there meals. So in good decision we just walked out. The food may have been good in the past but it definitely isn't worth the treatment the staff gave us. I live locally part time so this was a go too spot. Never again, such a shame.

Great little cafe, great service and excellent food. Will definitely go back again. Parking can be a challenge.

GREAT SMALL PLACE. GOOD BREAKFAST, DOWN TOWN HAWLEY, PA NEAR RAIL BIKES BY RAILROAD STATION. GRATE WATRESS. GOOD FOOD, CLEAN PLACE. A MUST TRY.

Servers are super sweet, I was waiting outside for my food and the one server Nikki ran out with my food to give it to me. 10/10 would go back every day

Waitstaff was incredibly attentive and kind. The pancakes were undercooked and the bacon was on the overcooked side. It was breakfast but I wished it was better.
