Terrible customer service. Wish I read the reviews before spending money at the place. -5 stars

Today was the first time at Lakeside Vision. My husband attended my appointment and we were very impressed. Every single person there was amazing and helpful. We cannot thank everyone enough for being so kind and thorough about everything. I can't wait for my new glasses. Thank you so much.

Best eye care practice in the area. Hands down because of the folks that work there. They have highley educated and trained staff who always make you feel welcome even when they are being screamed at by patients. I've watch the two young ladies at reception take turns having people disrespect them, belittle them and argue with them. (who thinks they can go to the Docters and not fill any forms out?) Watching the composure they maintain while being mistreated proves to me management is doing a good job despite what the man yelled at her. Dr Amy gives the best care and puts her patients needs before her own health. She looks tired but is still making sure we can see even after we were late for our appointment. Where else can you go for the quality of care, that takes state insurance and doesn't treat you like less of a person for having state insurance? Lakeside Vision in Hawley. Only downside. No one cares about your Secretaries running.

Horrible experience at Lakeside Vision in Hawley. Comprehensive exam, and polite staff, but $2,000 later, I have a pair of reading glasses that I never wear because a $10 pair from CVS is better; and a pair of polarized sunglasses that I use only to keep sun out of my eyes when I'm sitting. If I try to walk with them on, I feel disoriented. All that sophisticated machinery, and they can't get the prescription right? Plus, they charged me for an appointment to pick up the eyeglasses from a technician. I didn't spend 10 minutes in the office and yet they billed Medicare for a "long Doctor's office visit". Lakeside Vision is not interested in your eyesight, only your wallet, so they can buy up more independent practices and plaster billboards all over NEPA.

Very grateful to have access to the precision diagnostics, but more importantly everyone has been great at creating a relaxed atmosphere and explaining any questions. Couldn't be more pleased with the level of care my wife and I have received at Lakeside Vision!

Lakeside Vision is great and friendly I take my daughter there for her yearly exams and other eye care needs. They are great at explaining what’s going on during the visit and picking out glasses is always fun too! Thank you for taking care of our needs!

Total scam tried to make me pay two different co-pays for two test said my insurance company wouldn’t allow the test to be scheduled on the same day I find that shameful.
What insurance company would want you to pay twice? Two visit instead of one 2 co-pays instead of one because they won’t pay for two test on the same day does not sound reasonable.

Very thorough testing and a great group of people. I am very happy with my glasses and how quickly they came in. I highly recommend Lakeside Vision.

Last year my wife became concerned about the redness in one of her eyes and made an appointment with Lakeside Vision to get it checked out. My wife learned nothing about her condition, but instead was asked to take lots of tests with no explanation of why she needed them or what the results were. She finally stopped going back while they were still calling her to make more appointments for more tests. The redness in her eye went away on its own with no help from Lakeside Vision.

Around 25 years ago, my wife took one of our cars into a garage for the annual inspection. They told her it needed around $500 of repairs to pass. I took it to another place and it passed with no work at all. She hasn't gone back to a mechanic again. She lets me take care of that. She realized that some mechanics view little Asian women differently than big American construction guys. She feels the same way about Lakeside Vision. She doesn't want to go back there any more than she wants to try taking a car again to a repair shop.

Our insurance rejected the claim for her tests because they didn't know if they were the sole provider. I called our insurance company to let them know that they were our sole provider and read them all the codes on the tests on the letter from Lakeside. They said it was all covered. I let Lakeside Vision know it was all covered, but they nonetheless are trying to bill us for $200 more than they will get paid by Blue Cross Blue Shield. They said someone would call me to explain my wife's tests, but no one ever did.

I feel like we would probably be paying more for the doctor's student loans, the cost of all that fancy equipment or perhaps his next vacation than for our actual health care. I'm not paying. They can just keep billing me till the cows come home.

I went to Lakeside Vision a year or so ago and got a prescription for glasses. The doctor was a rather condescending guy and made sure to escort me to his eyeglass store after he was done. I got the impression that he didn't think much of blue collar country folks. The glasses are very uncomfortable to wear and I have never used them even though I am supposed to wear them when I'm driving.

We had a great waitress at Kay's Italian restaurant in Daleville the other day and she had great things to say about Moscow Family Eye Care. She had to leave work early to go to an eye appointment. We went over there to see if they take our insurance and they did. They seemed quite nice, so we are going to try them.

Very disappointed with myself. I choose Lakeside Vision based on the majority good reviews but failed to see the warning signs. My husband and I scheduled to get eye exam and updated glasses. While there the Dr told my husband that they wanted him to come back for some testing as he might have pre glaucoma (or something to that effect - not sure of the exact wording). They had my husband come back twice for several test for what we believe was just "milking" the system. Now I am getting bill after bill for lab diagnostic co-pay. Yes - my fault for not realizing that there were additional co pays that my insurance is requiring but SHAME on you for not reminding your "patient" that they could incur a few hundred dollars worth of additional co-pays while you shuffle them from room to room for nonsense testing.
All I can say at this point is that we will NOT be returning and advise future patrons to be aware of what you are getting yourself into.

Excellent selection of frames for the whole family (including infants!) for any price point, along with the best quality contact lenses on the market. Thanks to the Doctors I have found the perfect type of glasses and contacts that best suits my lifestyle, in and outside of work.
Lakeside Visions Practice Manager is extremely knowledgeable and has done a wonderful job putting together a team that is not only talented, but warm and welcoming. This is key to them providing an experience that is so much more than " just another doctors visit ". Such success and performance deserves recognition beyond its weight in gold.
Please consider Lakeside Vision for all of your ocular needs, not just limited to comprehensive exams but emergencies as well (keeping your eyes healthy with a 24hr ER line, how convenient!)

My 3 year old sees Doctor Amy and she absolutely loves her. We used to go to a children’s eye doctor in Dunmore which was close to home. I would rather drive 45 mins to see her cause she is so great with our child and actually takes her time with her and explains everything to us. So happy that we went here this place is great

Lakeside vision has been great for my daughter's optical needs. The staff is kind and the doctor is great with young kids. She assessed her needs quickly and was knowledgeable on the topic. Would definitely recommend!

I love lakeside vision because they know how to make someone feel like we matter. They explain what ever is going on with you and they care.

Lakeside Vision is fantastic and they treat you like family. I will drive over an hour just so me and my daughter can continue to see Dr. Amy. They take very good care of all your concerns and any problems you are having. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in the area.
