I saw a bedbug the second I walked In when I told the gentleman at the desk he gave me my money back but didn't seem bothered by the situation I will never go back to this place again

Let's just say you get what you pay for here. The prices are ok but the rooms are a little iffy.

Stayed here several times before has gone downhill, extremely dissatisfied with room conditions and service. I would Recommend rooms on the second floor they seem to be more clean, bugs were an issue along with overwhelming pet odor. Prices need to be lowered and major deep cleaning is needed.

I do not recommend thus dirty place to anyone! But on a budget u may still not afford such an expensive dirty place

It was dirty but they got it cleaned up within 2 days. A lot of broken appliances and stained up bedspreads. You get what you pay for.

Room was so bad we couldn't even stay. Disgusting! Beds had cigarette burns in the blankets and sheets, clumps of ratty hairs and when pulled down blankets there was food crums, blood stains and holes. The side of the bed had stains where drinks had been spilt down the sides, the walls had water damage I dont think ever cleaned. The room smelled of old cigarette smoke and it was obvious sanitation was not a priority. There is so much more I could say about how horrible this place was and why we couldn't stay there but I really shouldn't have to say anymore than I have to send you running far away.

Friendly manager. Very helpful, and knowledgeable with COVID restrictions. Rapid check in. Although the lobby is closed, it's still a clean quiet friendly hotel.

Ratchet loud motel with disrespectful staff and management. It's not safe, lots of crime and would not recommend it to any out of state visitors including sight and sound as it's not Christian based or friendly.

My family and I used to stay in this hotel many times before when we have come to Lancaster. I was very shocked at the poor conditions that this hotel is in. It’s a shame that at one time this was a nice hotel now we will not come back to it again. There was a terrible smell in the room when we came. My son and I went back to the front desk to see if we could get another room. The gentlemen at the front desk said he could not change rooms for us as it was against policy to do so. But he gave us a can of Lysol and sheets to replace the stain ones that were in the same shape as the ones we changed. The best the front desk clerk said he could do is offer for us to speak to management and see if they would give us some of our money back. What a shame that a once family hotel has become very poorly maintained and very uninviting to come back too. I think they need to remove the sign on the website about being a lantern award winning hotel. Award winning is far from what it is today.

The rooms are decent sized and clean. We always take our own linens no matter what hotel we stay at.

This place is a dump. Avoid it if you can. In our room, the T. V.didn't work. The towels were thin. The towel rack was broken.

My husband and I went on Booking.com and tried to book a last minute room to Lancaster as we were seeing a show at the American Music Theater. Our choices were slim, but this hotel had a fair rating. We checked in, lobby was closed, all but a slotted plastic divider. The front desk person was friendly, but looked under the influence. He pointed to a hand written sign saying no refunds. Once checked in we left for show right away, never going to the room. We arrive back at 10: 00 pm had to go through a back filthy sticky door. As soon as we got into the building the smell of cooking grease and body odor was extreme. The sticky, stained hallway carpet crunched as we walked, should have been a red flag. The other quests or possibly long term renters (homeless) were going room to room visiting. When we opened our door we were in shock, sheets on bed stained and looked slept in, furnishing old and dirty, stained lamp shade, then my husband put on bathroom light roaches? Scattered, going back in the light switch and on sink. The bathroom was disgusting, the mini refrigerator iced over.we left immediately. I checked out, told the desk person why, he said he would tell management. Also, wrote to booking.com who told me they would not post my review I would have to rewrite it? They wanted to sensor the truth. PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE.

Well if it wasn't for the roaches taking over because of the lack of cleanliness, food crumbs, filthy bathroom with who knows who's hair is all over the floor.

Wow.first we checked in staff not very friendly. Went around back of building to our room and the hotel was disgusting dirty. The smell was awful in the hallway. Our room key wouldn't work and after the check in persons 3rd attempt at resetting the key code. I just asked for a refund and left. Interesting smell coming from a non smoking hotel. The smell of pot and whatever else they were doing was awful. Not a safe place to stay with a family.

TV didn't work. Room was definitely smoked in recently. Sink was clogged. Toilet barely flushed. Hairs on the sheets. Everything I took into that room needs washed. BEWARE checkout is at 10 am or they charge you a second night! Spend the extra money and stay somewhere decent -especially if you have kids.

Not impressed at all, sheets weren't cleaned the room smelled like smoke! The pictures on line are very deceiving!

Beds weren't made, no fresh towels you had to get them yourself, trash wasn't taken out.
