THE GO-TO SPOT FOR TAILORING! I couldn’t be more pleased with their service! I needed an emergency hemming for a wedding in 5 hours. I called Lancaster Tailor Co.and they got me right in. The measurements were done in 5 min, and my pants were ready within 2 hours.

I needed the sleeves of a new suit jacket shortened by 2 inches. They would not quote the price over the phone, I had to bring it in to be fitted, which I did. They measured, pinned it and said it would be ready in 4 days. Still no price, I had to ask and it was $79. I said that sounded high and I wanted a second opinion. He said I would not be happy with the work at other places. I said I'd bring it back in if I could not find quality work at a significantly lower price. I took it to another tailor who charged me $25 total and I am VERY happy with their work. Needless to say I will not be going back here. I recommend getting a 2nd opinion!

I took in a denim shirt to be altered. I was told it would take two weeks and that I could pay upon pick up. When I got to my car, I saw that the price would be $128. I felt that was far too expensive and went back inside to retrieve my shirt. My gut feeling is that I got the "I don't want your business price. "

For comparison, similar alterations at tailors in other cities have been closer to $20-30.

My Dress fit when I got it but then I had gained some weight, it wouldn’t zip up but he altered my dress and it fits so perfect. I highly recommend!
