Lancers Diner reviews
17 Place was recommended so we checked it out. I chose the creamed chipped beef and he got Eggs Benedict. We also had to try one of the pancakes.
Everyone was friendly and food was delicious! I'd like to go back soon.
*Note: The creamed chipped beef wasn't listed on the menu but they have it!
Service was good and food was GREAT. The only thing was a LOT of PEOPLE WEREN'T WEARING their MASKS during waiting periods
The food was excellent, delicious and came out quick, the staff was excellent, pleasant, warm with a smile and the 1st time we went there the cutest baby's you'd ever want to see were there of one of the young ladies that work there on her day off. That speaks volumes. Love it, love it. Customer service poster child!
The best diner food I have ever had in my life. Who ever is the cook, give them a raise! I’ve tried at least 6 items on the menu and it was always delicious. The desert is also mouth watering!
Lancers does not disappoint between food & service. The breakfast & lunch menus have good selections to choose from. I used to come here 1-2 times a week, but COVID-19 made a difference. Currently only open between 06: 00-15: 00 daily.
My favorite breakfast place. I always order a western omelette with american cheese and rye toast. They have the best coffee and breakfast potatoes. Staff is always happy and attentive. I visit at least once a month. Can't recommend enough. The staff really makes it a wonderful experience.
You know how some places you've been going to for over 10 years but the food and service is never quite as good as you remember it? That's not the case with Lancers. Been going here on and off since the early 2000s and I've always had consistently great food; fast and friendly service and great value for the price. Simply the best diner in the area, with awesome breakfast food, an extensive menu, and very reasonable prices.
If you're in the area, so yourself a favor and give Lancers a try!
The Best. Great food, great service, great prices. Great air conditioning too, so take a light sweater if you tend to get cold quickly.
This place used to be our go-to diner. They've gone severely downhill. During my last visit I ordered a salad as usual; they brought me a plate where about a third of the lettuce was brown. No server should have missed it, it was very visible.
Service has declined as well. Asked for hot sauce for chili and an extra place setting, never got either one. Drinks don't get refilled.
Finally, very few servers wear masks and the owner doesn't either, although he likes to visit each table and make conversation.
I loved the food, the service and the owner personally came over to our table and welcomed us️ I would recommend this place! Big portions and the prices were fantastic!
Portion sizes are verry good, ingredients are fresh, and natural. The turkey club is huge w roasted hand carved Turkey.
. And my favorite is the authentic Greek gyro. Definitely will be going here more often.
Want to either acquire Covid or some right-wing book diatribe about Fauci being devil at the door? This is the place for you.
Owner uses his diner to sell anti-Fauci propaganda. He tried to discuss the Constitution with me when I was just trying to pay for my eggs.
Stick to eggs, genius.
Absolutely excellent food and service. Clean atmosphere and modern. Reasonable prices. The only diner where I’ll order everything from grilled cheese to a gyro, every dish is delish!
If ya want great diner food and experience take the extra ride up the road to Lancers. Husband and I like this place and it's owner who like the olden days diner will engage his customers with friendly chat. Yeah. Lancerz is a good thing!
Food is fine. Owner has books for sale at the checkout counter calling Anthony Fauci “dangerous. ” Whatever your feelings about Covid, understanding public health like hand washing, periodic cleaning of counter and work spaces, safe food temperatures and the health of food handlers, are something a restaurant owner should take seriously. I can’t take my family to eat where all that may be questioned by someone trying to peddle the U. S. Constitution to customers. I don’t like being reminded of the rights women and minorities were denied in this nation while eating my scrapple.
